'Miss Burton died. Didn't she?' I thought to myself as the door to my bed room was pushed open.
'Good morning young Miss', came from the voice I was longing for.
'Sorry again for leaving you so suddenly last night, I'm glad that you managed to get home safely', from hearing the lost voice I pulled my head up to find Miss Burton stood in front of me. A large spirit of shock possessed me and I was dragged into a black warp of nothing.
Familiarly my eyes elevated like shutters and I found myself sat on an old, rusty bed. I reached my arm out to stretch when I realize that they were not my own. As shabby and unclean as they were, It was clear that the clothes I wore were not of my time, never mind my social class. I stood up from the bed and slowly span around to view the circumference of the room I was residing. The walls were wood built but strong and floor hard as concrete, walking around the room I felt comfortable and at home, there were many shelf stocked books and strange unfamiliar items placed on the counters, with flower cuttings and spices of every kind. Lost in acknowledgement, I was about to open a box chest which seized my eyes, when a voice caught my attention.
'Miss Patient...'
Taken aback by the warmth of the presence, I span around and shouted at my defense.
'I touched nothing, I swear...wait patient?', I looked at the man standing before my eyes like a puppy to his best friend. I was happy to see that man, but for what reason I couldn't tell.
'Yes, sit back down' he scolded and grabbed my hand to direct me to the bed I was last sat on. As he did so, who that man was I kept asking myself.
'Aren't you getting angry since I'm teasing you darling?', he laughed and placed his hand on my forehead as though to check my temperature.
'Darling?' I screamed before being lifted on my two feet by the man.
'Now there, are you trying to tease me, Octavia?', he began moving his face closer to mine.
'No Warlock, I wouldn't', I addressed to him as though I knew who he was and when I did, being two centimeters from my lips; he stopped in his tracks.
'Don't give me that, call me Zach from now on', he exclaimed and grabbed my chin, 'Aren't we Husband and Wife?', pulling me into a kiss.
And like that night before, it was electricity coursing through me.
