Dante
I entered the counselor's office late, and when I entered I noticed the little shit that bumped into Bee was sitting on the couch in the corner messing with his phone, I automatically thought he snitched on me so a shot him a glare when he glanced up, at least that's what I thought he did since I couldn't see his eyes behind his unruly hair and glasses, a complete stereotype of a nerd.
"Ah, Dante, it's nice of you to finally join us," Mr. Wrally drawled
"What do you want?" I asked, wanting to go home. "Well, I've noticed that your grades are slipping, and they are slipping fast," he said.
"so what," I asked, annoyed
"Well, if you'd like to graduate," the man's voice cracked, so he swallowed and spoke again cautiously
"That's why Mr. Alesio is here. I would like him to tutor you."
he said nervously. I took a glance at the nerd to see that he was already staring at the counselor. The old man flinched and looked away quickly.
"w-what do you say, M-Mr. Alesio," the old man asked.
looking nervously at the boy. Ok, what the hell is going on? The boy hummed, covering his mouth in thought. He sighed and stood up straight.
I noticed he was taller than me when Barry was attacking him earlier, but I didn't realize it fully until he was standing right next to me; he was still a skinny-looking thing, though, even with the height. He tilted his head and scratched the back of his neck, and with a final huff, he said, "hhhhmm, what the hell, sure."
His voice was smooth and deep a slight accent I couldn't place, making it sound sexier than it should have, and the only way I could describe it was elegant. I wasn’t expecting it at all from him.
"Great, I really appreciate it, sir," I was brought out of my thoughts when the counselor called the nerd sir.
"No problem," the boy said, not caring anymore, but that's when I realized they didn't even ask me my opinion on the matter! "Hey, you can't make this choice for me!" I yelled at them angrily.
"Dante, that is because you would have refused, and I'm not giving you that option."
The old man's face was the definition of determination.
"Can I leave now?" the little nerd interrupted
"No, there's one more thing I want both of you to get to know each other, so that means going to each other's houses and spending time together at school. I already talked to both of your parents, and they approve." Mr. Wrally said with a frown
"Merda," the boy grumbled in Italian and sat back down on the couch, obviously wanting to leave. He pulled out his phone and waited patiently until I was done arguing with the man, until I accepted the damned tutor.
Karma
I stood in the school's parking lot waiting for someone to pick me up; I glanced over at Dante, his light brown hair, sculpted body, sharp jawline, big brown eyes, full lips, and olive skin. It's no surprise he's popular. “You have a ride home?” as if not expecting me to talk to him, he whipped his head towards me, his face a mask of confusion and anger. “I usually just walk.” Humming and nodding my head, I figured I'd try my best to play nice, for now at least.
“I'm free tonight if you want to swing by my place,” I said to the boy across from me. He just sighed, I noticed he does that a lot, “Yeah, sure, whatever”. But noticing Anthony's car coming towards us I do the same. He pulled up next to me and rolling down the window.
" I heard you had to stay after to talk with someone, so I thought I would be nice and wait for you." With a smirk playing on his lips, he waved me into the car.
"There's one problem with that, Ant," my voice came out as a grumble. He raised his eyebrow, and I pointed to where Dante was standing about 25 feet away. "I have to tutor him, so I invited him over to get it over with," I muttered quietly. "Yikes," "I know, right?" I huffed
"Dante!" I yelled, he started walking towards me and the car, probably not noticing who the driver was, he was glaring at me, probably for talking to him at all.
I opened the passenger side door and got in, motioning for Dante to get in. As he got in the backseat, muttering something about regretting this, Anthony looked back at him with menace written all over his face. "Well, well, well! Who would have ever thought big, bad Dante, the golden boy of the school, would be failing his classes!" Anthony's words came out as a taunt, his grin growing wider at the incredulous look on Dante's face, " the fuck. Why are you getting a ride from him?" Dante tried to get as far away from my brother as possible. I rolled my eyes,
"Maybe because he's my twin brother," I said tiredly.
"You're brother? You look nothing alike?"
Im shocked my eyes haven't come out of the socket with how much I've rolled them today.
“Have you never heard of fraternal twins? No wonder you're failing.” I raised my eyebrow at him and leaned against my window, wanting to go to my grotto and forget about the strange day I've had.
I opened my eyes, staring out of the tinted window. Thinking about it, our birthday is two weeks from now… the party my family is hosting means I have to get dressed formally. Man, what a pain
