This was it. I stood outside my new apartment simply staring at the door. My mouth fell dry as I shifted from my left foot to my right foot the duffel bag slung across my shoulder swaying back and forth as I did so. This was my fresh start. A new town, a new school, a new home. I was to be sharing an apartment with a sophomore attending the same university as me, but unfortunately aside from a handful of texts I’d never met or spoken to the boy that I was going to be living with for at least the next couple months. My heart was a thumping mess as I gently tapped at the door. Only silence followed as a large lump grew steadily in my throat.
“Hello…?” I dared giving the door another touch. A large silence ensued followed by a light sigh from me as I jiggled the new key from my pocket, “Please… Be decent…” I muttered to myself as I fumbled with the door discovering that it had been unlocked the whole time. The bag dropped from my shoulder as I entered the apartment.
“Mffmm… Haa…” I heard a soft pant from the opposite side of the apartment. My curiosity pushed me forward padding toward the echoing voice, “You’re so…!”
“Hello…?” I hummed as I heard another voice mixing in with the first one as I continued down the hallway noticing the glow of light shining from one of the two bedrooms, “I’m your new roommate, Sullivan.” Giving the open door a light knock I tipped my head inside, “Sorry, you didn't open the door, so I just let myself in and-- Holy... Hi... I didn't mean to intrude..."
I stood in a shocked stupor my jaw hanging halfway to the floor watching the scene before me. Two boys stood towards the center of the room completely enveloped by the other’s embrace. Their mouths were interlocked, and their eyes were closed as they focused entirely on each other. The taller of the two was nearly a head taller than me and adorned shaggy, auburn hair that fell just below the tops of his ears. He still hadn’t noticed me as he focused on his partner, a shorter boy with wiry blond hair and alluringly reddened cheeks. Reacting to them I swallowed hard feeling my own face grow red as I dared myself to move with no visible results. The auburn-haired boy smirked a bit seemingly enjoying his situation as he slipped his hand down from the other boy’s back and into the front of his pants feeling the boy up gently. A light, joyous noise emerged from the blond’s throat as he squeezed onto the auburn-haired boy even tighter before mimicking his partner and coping him a feel as well. My face only flushed further as they got louder, and I started to feel my crotch reacting before a light trickle of sweat started its way down my brow.
“Just take your time…” I mumbled weakly finally finding the strength to pull myself away from that sight, “I’ll be waiting in the living room…” I stumbled my way to couch letting out a deep breath as I hid my face in my hands. What in the hell had I just walked into…?
The two boys appeared not long afterward making a quick goodbye before the blond was herded out the door, "Sorry, I forgot you were moving in today." The auburn-haired boy apologized plopping next to me taking the opportunity to look me over, "I'm Robin, your new roommate." he extended his hand to me leaving me to stare at him mouth ajar, "Don't worry, I washed my hands!" he had a cocky smirk woven across his features.
“I assumed you did!” My face flushed once again as I slowly took his hand in mine and gave it a light shake, “I’m Sullivan if you didn’t hear me earlier.”
“Well, it’s nice to meet you, Sully…” The boy’s grin widened as he released my hold and slid back to a more comfortable position, “You’ve got to tell me though… Why are you hard right now?”
I yelped in surprise my face growing hot and my heart growing loud as I looked down at myself, “I’m sorry…” I covered myself as he chuckled obviously enjoying how flustered he had made me, “You see that’s… You… Him…” My voice grew high in pitch as he looked at me almost sadistically, “You see I’m ga--… I’m ga….”
He laughed lightly, “No, it’s my fault… That’s not a problem…” He grabbed my bag from the floor, “I didn’t mean to catch you off guard like that… I’ve never had a gay roommate before either. It’ll be a good change…” he laughed again as he led the way to my new room, “I think we’ll get along great!”
“Yeah…” I muttered meekly only feeling more distress as I entered the room, “I’ll just settle in then…” I pushed my way back out of the bedroom to the bathroom letting out a ragged breath as I slid to the floor, Why the hell does this have to happen to me…?
