Zion Regiis, a pitch black-haired boy with glowing red eyes, stares out of the car window while he listens to music. A tap on his shoulder makes Zion jump and turn as he turns the music off. "You look like your thinking..." Draco, a boy with grey hair and eyes, says gently. "I-it's nothing," Zion says dismissively. "Doesn't look like nothing," Draco says. "I'm fine..." Zion sighs as he looks back out the window. "If you say so..." Draco says sounding concerned. After a while, the car stops and a boy with blonde hair, red eyes, wolf ears, and a fluffy tail opens the door for them. Zion steps out of the car followed by Draco. "Thank you, Duncan," Zion says politely. Duncan gives Zion a bow as Draco grabs his and Zion's bags. "Have a good day Master Zion," Duncan says as he gets back into the car and drives off. "I wish he wasn't so afraid of me..." Zion says sadly as he follows Draco into the school building. "Maybe it's not you but your dad..." Draco mutters. "Enough with that. Are you ready for school?" Zion teases. Draco groans making Zion snicker. "Whyyyyyyyy!" Draco whined. "Let's go to class..." Zion says as he tugs on Draco's hand.
At lunch...
Zion was drawing a wendigo with werewolf features as Draco sits down beside him. "Are you hungry?" Draco asks. "Uh... I guess I could eat..." Zion says as he sits up. "Here," Draco says as he reaches his wrist out to Zion. "Thanks," Zion says before he bites into Draco's wrist making him wince slightly. "You are hungry aren't you?" Draco asks as he watches Zion drink. "Thanks," Zion says with a smile as he lets go of Draco's wrist. "Always," Draco says with a wink as he wraps a bandage around his bleeding wrist. "Shut up!" Zion says as he shoves Draco playfully. "Let's go home early," Draco says. "Nah. I'm working hard to pass all of my classes," Zion says. "You don't need to know any of this stuff so why are you working so hard?" Draco asks. "Because I like being smart!" Zion says defensively. "Alright. Well, it's about time for class so let's go." Draco says as he gets up then helps Zion to his feet. "Thanks," Zion says as he starts walking back to the school. "Of course," Draco says. "Wait," Zion says sounding nervous as he pulls Draco into a dark, empty classroom. "What?" Draco asks as he looks over Zion's shoulder at the hallway. "Just be quiet please." Zion whimpers sounding scared. Draco looks worried but listens to him. A boy with dyed red hair and bright green eyes walks by with a bunch of pretty girls following him while whispering excitedly and blushing. "Who is that?" Draco asks as they step out of the room. "Damian King the cutest most popular boy in school..." Zion mutters as they walk to the classroom. "And you have a crush on him right?" Draco whispers as he sits beside Zion. "Right..." Zion mutters his cheeks turning bright red. "Don't worry I won't tell your dad about it," Draco says kindly. "Thanks, Draco," Zion says with a small smile before turning back to his work.
After class...
Zion and Draco were talking and joking when a deep, cool voice sounded from behind Zion. "Hey Zion!" the boy calls. Zion turns to see Damian standing there with a friendly smile. "Oh... um... h-hey," Zion says nervous. "Who's this?" Damian asks as he glances at Draco. "This is my friend Draco," Zion says blushing heavily. "Hey, I'm Damian," Damian says as he holds his hand out to shake. "Hey..." Draco says suspiciously as he shakes Damian's hand. "I didn't see you at lunch so I was wondering where you were..." Damian says. "Oh... right I forgot sorry..." Zion says looking away. "Don't be! It's fine I swear!" Damian says kindly. "Thanks... anyways what's up?" Zion asks curious. "I wanted to let you know that we're going to get dorms next week if our parents let us," Damian says as he puts his hands in his pockets. "Thanks for telling me!" Zion says. "Anyways I should probably get to class before those girls find me again," Damian says as he looks around. "Alright, I'll text you later," Zion says. "Yep. Later!" Damian says before he walks back to the school building. "Didn't you notice he was a vampire?" Draco whispers as he crosses his arms. "Of course I know," Zion says. "He's not just any kind he's a Hakia vampire," Draco growls. "I thought you supported me!" Zion snarls close to tears. "I do! Just if he finds out you're a Regiis vampire he might hurt you..." Draco says trying to calm Zion down. "I guess... but... h-he already knows..."
