Karma

“Jeez that boy will be the death of me,” I said to myself as I drove home with a wide smile on my face

When I had gotten back to the house, I was still in a great mood, but that was abruptly spoiled when I saw my parents greeting one of our ally packs.

 Specifically the North pack and said North pack has a certain member that is completely enthralled with me like she had convinced herself that I was her mate and that we were engaged. I glanced around rapidly looking for her until I spotted her walking towards my mother and father her pack and mine began to tense up becoming on guard as she completely ignored my father and walked straight towards my mother I could see her reaching towards my mother's belly with a menacing star but a sweet smile and I immediately sprinted towards them pushing her away from my mother with a growl 

“What the hell are you doing Lana?!” I roared out at her as I stepped in front of my mother, my father taking her in his arms.

My pack was extremely agitated at this point. growls were echoing from everywhere Lana's pack had a mixture of shock and anger towards her

She looked shocked herself, shocked and angry but the anger quickly hid as her eyes widened and she stuck out her bottom lip

"What do you mean Karmy, I was just saying hello to the baby," she said with a sickly sweet voice 

“You shall do no such thing, you have been here for mere minutes and you've already broken numerous rules. Now I need you to back up right now and go back to your designated spot Before I rip your conniving head off.” I said with a cruel snarl

“But-” she started

“Now!” I barked as loud as I could manage 

She was shocked but glared at my parents and turned around sharply and went back to her pack, suddenly The Alpha spoke up 

“I apologize I guess she still hasn't learned the proper manners,” he said awkwardly  

"Be sure to keep her in check because I will not tolerate any disrespect towards me, my family, or my pack. Do you understand alpha, Maury?" My father said with a menacing look sending visible chills through the other alpha 

"Yes sir, but may I also say that your son is not Alpha yet so he has no right ordering MY pack around, and also I believe it's YOUR job to protect your... Luna, " the Alpha said with a tight voice obviously getting protective over his pack.

"Why yes that's correct Alpha Leon, But Karma is quite the mama's boy. I know that he can protect her and his little brother just as well as I can. And with the way you just referred to my wife like she was trash, I can tell that you Don't actually understand me. If I hear or even See a blink that disrespects us, then I won't hesitate to TEAR. YOU. APART." My dad was getting more and more serious by the minute his growl echoed off the trees  

"Albert, that is enough!" my mother's sweet voice called out abruptly breaking the tense staring contest

 "Right I'm sorry ll mi amore (my love)" as my father apologize he kissed my mother's forehead 

"Come inside dears it's getting frigid out here,"  mother said, her thick Russian accent making it a bit hard to decipher most people caught on quickly though and the confused ones just followed behind as they went inside. I stayed where I was with Benny, letting the anger go through me. 

"Guard Mother and make sure that witch doesn't go ANYWHERE near her," I growled out the orders to my brother.

  "yes my Alpha," he bowed to me as he accepted the order. My pheromones made it hard for him to stand. 

"I'm going out"  I shifted, liking the pain that distracted my mind.

 I start my mad dash towards my cave letting out loud growls and tearing my paws into the dense soil kicking it up behind me as I turned and twisted through the tall redwoods and other old trees that wrap together and across the ground the forest getting thicker and thicker with bushes, trees, and other things littering the ground I ignored it all though.  I wanted the black sky to open and swallow me whole but that wouldn't happen so I kept running letting angry hot tears flow down my animalistic face I was too upset to care anymore so I kept going and going howling out as loud as I could until I reached the end of my territory but I kept running. 

I ignored my Den and kept running I didn’t know where my wolf was taking me but I just let him take control.

Dante POV 

I had been tossing and turning all night since the boy had dropped me off.

 I was Irritated for some reason, extremely irritated, I sat up in my bed looking towards my window. It was pitch black aside from a single street lamp.

 I stood up walking towards my kitchen but as soon as I opened my door I felt a sharp pain in my lower back, it lasted a few seconds but it was excruciating, I just shake my head thinking I was just laying down weird and I pinched something I walked into my kitchen and reached for a cup as I fill it up with water I suddenly feel something running down my cheeks, I reach my free hand up and wipe it off 

"What the hell…?" I...I'm crying? I was shocked. Why would I be crying? But again I just shake it off.

 I down my water and head back to my room as I laid back down I couldn't get back to sleep for the life of me so I just stayed awake staring at my ceiling until it started raining I glanced out my window again only to do a double-take.

 Standing under the streetlamp was a massive black wolf staring directly at me I lept for my phone about to call animal control only to see it had disappeared when I had looked back I ran towards my window looking for it everywhere when a sudden knock on my front door made me jump out of my skin I glanced towards my clock seeing it was around 1 in the morning

 "it's ok...it's probably just dad coming home from work early," I said to myself hoping that was the case.

 I made my way towards the door, unlocked it, and swung it open only to see my tutor standing there soaking wet and panting hard 

"pup?" That is all I could say before he fell forward into my arms cold to the touch.
