Colby walked into to kitchen, smelling like soap. He found Cleo cooking there.

"I figured you might be hungry. So... I thought I'd make dinner" she said whilst looking up at him.

 "Mind if I help?", he asked her.

They started preparing a meal together in awkward silence. Neither of the pair knew what to say to the other. When the meal was ready Colby took out two plates from the cupboard and placed it on the counter. Cleo stated dishing up. Trying to break the silence Colby said, "Remember when we started dating and all we could afford to eat was chicken feet and pap?"

"Yea", Cleo replied under her breath.

"But look at you now, you've really built yourself up. Now chicken feet are a thing of the past"

"Yea."

"I.. I-"

"Let's go sit down and eat."

They sat down and ate their meal in silence. When they had finished eating Cleo stood up took their plates to the sink and started washes the dishes. Colby stood up and followed her. He picked up a dishcloth and said "You'll wash and I'll dry and put things away." No reply. Cleo had decided earlier that she'd give him the cold shoulder for a while. so he wouldn't think she was easy, and would forgive him every time he messes up. 

The silence was starting to drive Colby crazy. Cleo promised they would talk after he takes a bath, and yet she was ignoring him. "Cleo I'm sorry" he blurted out, "I shouldn't have cheated on you. I just-"

"How long was it going on?" Cleo asked.

"What?"

"Your affair?"

"It was a one time thing."

"Don't lie!"

"I'm not lying it really was a one time thing."

"And your sexuality?"

"It has always been that way."

"You were always gay?"

"Bi"

Silence again, they both didn't know what to say to each other. After a while Cleo asked, "Then why haven't you had sex with me in so long?"

"Well... I didn't know how initiate it after what happened last time." Colby replied.

"Would you sleep with now?"

"Right now?"

"Yes, Right now."

"This is an awkward way to initiate sex."

"So that's a no?"

"No, it not a no. I would love to have sex with you."

"Then let's do it."

"uumh, Ok, Do you have condoms?"
