Dewi had come home and quickly set to work with Greer, distracting her with stories and making fun signs in Sato’s room to drive home the point of what he did. The whole time, Dewi was using it as a way to gauge how Greer was reacting. Luce had caught him up on what was going on, and how emotions seemed to be affecting her abilities. Once he got Greer taking a rest, he went to Luce and sighed. “I’m not sure we should leave her alone for a few days Luce.”
Luce looked to Dewi “Why not? I mean- she seemed to be handling it ok. Playing the prank with you on Sato.”
“Yeah but… look the next few days would suck normally anyway. And Greer… if you weren’t so uncomfortable and I was worried it’d get the wrong idea in her head? I would seriously be asking you to help put her powers on lock for a few days.”
Luce nodded a bit. “Alright… Sato and I have something to work on anyway so yeah… let us know when you need one of us to cover then.”
Luce was thinking of something more simple, like her powers going out of control. But Dewi had seen girls in his line of work that behaved like Greer was right now. He didn’t think it’d go past thoughts, but with her powers it would only take one thought at the wrong time. He honestly wondered if Sato thought about that at all when he had the news broken to Greer.
Greer was laying down on the couch. “Haaaaaate my uterus…”
Dewi sat down in his shirt and shorts and smiled sympathetically. “I know what you mean.”
Greer gave him a dirty look. “No you don’t…”
Dewi shifted to Destiny and smiled. “Yeah, I do. I’ve gone through it before. Part of living with other ladies. Which is why you get Destiny for a few days.”
Greer shifted a bit to make room as Destiny held up a small bag. “And I have several kinds of chocolate and we have all sorts of movies. What kind do you want?”
Sitting up now, Greer reached in and grabbed a bar. “I can’t afford…” Destiny covered her mouth, waiting a moment before removing it. “Um… thanks.”
Destiny sat next to her and hugged her tightly. “It’ll be ok. Come on.”
A few tears fell on the chocolate. “But… I don’t…” She trailed off as Destiny kept hugging her, eventually turning it into a lean and turning on Wall-e.

After almost all of the money had been unfolded the next day from hundreds of little swans and such, Greer had woken up from a nap to find out the others had made a joint decision. She wasn’t really ready to see them all sitting in the living room like that when she woke up. She knew she’d had a rough day the day before, but she was hoping they wouldn’t be quiet watching her like this closely. Maybe it was because of her powers? They were worried they’d go wrong or something?
Sato was the first to speak up, still unfolding a rose. “Greer, you really need your own space. So we came to a decision.”
Greer sighed, she was worried the joke went too far. Or worst, her powers were considered too unsafe after all. “Right well I can get it sorted, no problem just give me a day-“
Dewi interrupted. “No, no, what we mean is we are making you one of the pocket rooms, that way you aren’t always on the couch. Plus it’s depressing seeing all your clothes fit into one backpack.”
Blake nudged Dewi. “Don’t worry. We won’t give you the room, Sato will set it all up and has a very fair price. Bedrooms aren’t hard for him.”
Sato nodded. “Very easy, it doesn’t even take me that long since they aren’t that big. Once it’s done there will even be a formed bed and such. No need to worry.”
Greer eyed them all but…. She was getting tired of not having her own space. “Alright… how much… I can maybe swing 800 if you let me make two payments.”
Luce smiled. “You don't need to worry about that actually! The money you used in the prank should cover it. Sato feels bad about what happened and wants to cover your rent next month anyway. Plus all the money from the table more than covers since you've moved in and the rest of this month, plus groceries.”
Greer looked at him surprised. “That’s it? but ...”
Sato nodded. “Yes but that’s because the rooms do technically come with a minor risk but it’s rarely happens.”
Greer looked a bit. “Oh… well.. I guess if you could make a gym with the pool, then this isn’t hard either… When would it be ready?”
Sato smiled. “Oh in about an hour. Why don’t you go off and relax for a bit. There is a place that does fresh squeezed juice, including a special juice mixture perfect for right now. Blake will show you.”
She nodded. “Well… ok.” She went and started walking with Blake back downstairs. Once they were gone, the others quickly sprang into action and went through a door with a new talisman. The furniture movers were still bringing everything in. Luce looked around. “I hope an hour is enough time….”
Dewi nodded. “It should be. Anyone gonna tell her we spent her reward money on this?”
Luce shook his head. “Nah… not worth it. She’ll figure it out when she’s got a moment to relax.”
Dewi nodded. “Too bad we ran out before we could go clothes shopping. Those pants never did recover...”
