I can always feel

the ones who are close to me,

judging me and my interests,

whether it be

what I listen to,

watch, or what I do,

I can feel their eyes

judging me,

even when they’re

not in the room

I can hear them talk

and think about me

so negatively,

even when miles apart,

it makes my spirits

sink down inside me,

and want to disappear

in the endless void

that’s inside of me
