I turned to Ava, "Who was that?!" She just look blankly at me and shook her head no. "What do you mean no?! Who ever that was just attacked us both and tore my leg open!" Now that I mentioned my leg I realized it was going to need at least 15 - 20 stitches. Thank god i'm training to be a doctor. I could stitch it up on my own. At the mention of my leg Ava growled in anger. She carefully picked me up and set me on the kitchen counter. 

She tore my pant leg to get better view of the wound. "Hey! What are you doing?!" I ripped my leg away. She gave an annoyed huff, "I'm healing it. Give me your leg. You're loosing to much blood." I shook my head no. Ava growled, "What do you mean no?! you're critically injured! This is not the time to be stubborn!" Damn. I have never heard Ava say that many words in one sitting. I pulled on a stern look, "Ill let you heal me if you tell me everything about the person that attacked us." She huffed but nodded, "I promise. But after I heal you." I relaxed my leg and allowed her to pull it to her. To my surprise she licked it. 

"Ah!" My initial response was to pull my leg away. But Ava gently tightened her grip on my ankle. So I couldn't pull away and probably fall off the counter. After she was satisfied with whatever she was doing to my leg. She pulled away with a satisfied grin on her face. To my surprise my wound closed up and healed like it was never there. I looked at Ava for an explanation, "Avilies can heal there mates by licking the wound." I just nodded. 

Since I had come home to find Ava asleep in my closet nothing really surprised me anymore. "I held up my end and let you heal me. Your turn. Who was that?" Ava frowned and picked me up. She carried me to the bedroom and tucked us both into bed. "Nap first." She muttered into my hair. I huffed, "No! Not nap first!" She just curled around me and fell asleep. Damn. If she wasn't so cute and I wasn't so tired I would wake her. "This isn't over. I'm getting my explanation when I wake up.........."
