I walked down the hall took a left and found myself surrounded by a mix of colors, violet, red, yellow, green and blue. As I walk among the different kinds of plants I let my fingers drift among them. Feeling the ruff texture of the leaves and softness of the petals of the flowers. I smiled as I walked under the purple grapevines and made my way to the centre of the garden.
I rounded a corner and saw Yong waiting by the Dragon shaped fountain. I held up a hand in greeting and he nodded in response.
I walked over to him and leaning against the fountain I asked, “So what did you want to talk about?”
“I know what you are planning to do.” He said.
I straitened, “What do you mean?”
“You plan on leaving here do you not?”
“I do…”
“Exactly and it’s just a matter of elimination as to where you might go. The most likely trail you would fallow is the path that leads to the front lines no?”
“It is.”
“Well then I have something to ask of you”
“Alright shoot.”
“If you come across a man called Captain-General Cohen please let him know that you are the Princess he will help you for the time you stay there.”
“Fine but why?”
“Lady I know you know men but you don’t know men. As soon as they find out you are a woman they will want you for night uses and I can’t have that happen to my kingdoms future Queen.”
I whip towards him Sharply, “I will forget you said that but remember to never say it again.”
“But Lady you will have to marry one of the princes and I just thought-”
“You thought wrong.” I turned walked back out of the gardens and to my chambers where I practically threw off my clothes and climbed into bed. My last thoughts before I went to bed was...what the hell is wrong with everyone here.
