Warm.
That was the first thing I noticed when coming too.
Wait! Warm! My room was always cold since the fireplace was in the living room. I sat up with a start. Immediately regretting my actions due to a terrible throbbing in my head. Why did my head hurt so much. I didn't drink last night, did I? Suddenly my, extremely idiotic, memories from last night came back to me. Looking at my surrondings I realized I was in a large room on an impressive king-sized bed. At the end of the bed sat the vampire that I saught last night.
"I wouldn't sit up to fast next time little mouse. I would hate for you to hurt yourself." Abraxos said with a smirk.
"Where am I," I asked.
"My house of course,'' he replied.'' Where else would a pet live silly mouse."
"What about my mother. Did you help her. What if she's dead. God, I swear if she died I'll f-". I was cut off by Abraxos yet again.
"Calm down mousy your mother is fine. I already healed her and told her about our agreement." Abraxos replied calmly.
"Oh."I was honestly shocked. Not only by the fact he mum but that he told her about our agreement.
"W-what did she say about the agreement." I was a little scared to hear his answer. Mum was a very independent person, she always talked about wishing she could live alone. When she got sick, I always had to convince her to let me take care of her because if not she would exhaust herself.
"She told me I was a terrible human being, although considering I'm not human at all it wasn't offensive. Then after throwing half of her belongings at me demanded that I give you back. It was quite entertaining to be honest, and I can see where your anger comes from" He finished with a laugh.
Relief washed over me. Of course mum would me, I was the only thing she had left.
"Sounds like mum" I whispered with a smile.
