Chapter 3: A Date Date

Chapter 3: A Date Date

Sep 19, 2019

Lyssa looked at her reflection in nervousness. She bit her lip and examined her clothing.

“What do you think?” Lyssa asked her reflection.

“Personally I still think you should get rid of her.” The reflection shrugged.

“Ugh! You’re no help at all. This is to be my first date with Rebecca, I can’t blow it.”

“A vampire dating a human, I remember the days when you would scoff at such an idea.”

“You know you are really starting to get on my nerves.”

“That’s what you get for allowing yourself to be cursed by a witch, now you have to deal with me.”

“That was a weird phase in my life. The witch was hot until she brought out the goats head…”

Both Lyssa and her reflection shuddered at the memory.

“Don’t bring it up.” The reflection said.

“Agreed. Back to the topic at hand, It’s been years since I went on a date, I am more than rusty. What if I say or do the wrong thing? What if people start getting suspicious of me for not eating? What if Rebecca hates me!”

“You could always kill her.”

“That’s it, I’m officially ignoring you.”

The reflection mocked her and rolled her eyes.

‘Stop worrying and just come and get me for our date already! My dad said I could spend the night.’ Bex said through her thoughts.

Lyssa took a shaky breath and grabbed her car keys.

She drove to Rebecca’s house and got out of the car. Bex came running out the front door and into her arms.

“Eee! I’m so excited. Our first date!” Bex smiled up at her.

Lyssa’s heart melted inside of her, she couldn’t help but smile too.

“Come along now Rebecca, time to see how badly I shall embarrass myself.”

Bex giggled and walked to the car.

“Have a good time, stay safe!” Bex’s mom called from the doorway but Bex ignored her and got in the car. Lyssa started the car, and without so much as a wave goodbye, the two were off.

Bex’s mom glared after them and crossed her arms.

“I don’t like that Lyssa girl.” She shook her head and went back into the house.

Lyssa pulled into the theater parking lot and took a deep breath to calm her nerves. Bex giggled at her. Then the two walked out hand in hand and over to the ticket booth. Monroe and his buddies were hanging around and horsing around.

“Hey Lyssa, what moving you seeing? Freak Central?” Monroe called.

All his buddied busted out laughing.

“No, actually I was going to see, how to murder a frat boy and get away with it? Have you seen it?” She teased.

They laughed some more before running inside the theater.

“Jerks.” Bex pouted.

“Come now Rebecca, they are just unintelligible buffoons, we shall not stoop to their level. Besides I have come to the conclusion he only teases me because he is secretly infatuated with me.”

“What! Really?”

“Is that hard to believe?”

“Well no, but, I mean, okay maybe. Monroe has a crush on you? I don’t know whether to be concerned or jealous.” Bex scrunched her face in confusion.

Lyssa laughed.

“There is nothing to be jealous about, I don’t play for his team so to say. Plus I am already madly in love with someone else. She’s is quite a handful I tell you.”

“Do I know her?” Bex teased.

“Funny, now pick out a movie.” They walked up to the ticket booth counter.

“Hmm, how about that one.” Bex pointed.

“Two tickets to Silent Wave,” Lyssa said in her fake American accent.

The ticket booth worker sighed and rung up their purchase. Lyssa quickly paid and they went inside.

“Would you like snacks?” Lyssa asked.

“Yes! I love popcorn.” Bex said.

So they walked up to the concession counter and Lyssa bought Bex candy, popcorn, and a soda. Then Lyssa helped her carry it all to their seats. Bex curled up into a ball on her seat and rested her head on Lyssa’s shoulder.

“Ah man, I forgot a blanket, it’s freezing in here,” Bex said.

“I can go buy you one, I think I saw them selling them here.”

“Please, love you.” Bex kissed Lyssa on the cheek.

Lyssa smirked and got up to go get Bex a blanket while the previews played.

Lyssa walked back into the lobby and grabbed a plain black theater blanket. She was about to walk up to the counter and buy it when a woman stepped in front of her.

“Excuse me, have you seen my daughter?” The woman shoved a flyer in Lyssa’s face.

Lyssa eyed the missing persons flyer. A young girl, maybe only 11 or 12. She had never seen her before.

“No, I’m sorry.” Lyssa walked around her.

The woman let out a stressed whimper before walking over to Monroe.

“Excuse me, have you seen my daughter?”

Lyssa bought the blanket and quickly made her way back to Bex.

Bex snatched the blanket and snuggled up with it, once again resting her head on Lyssa’s shoulder. Lyssa held Bex’s popcorn for her while Bex munched on candy. The two settled in and the movie began.

Throughout the whole movie, Bex had her eyes glued to the screen. She would munch of popcorn and drink her soda. When she got scared she would bury her head deeper into Lyssa, who wrapped her arm protectively around Bex.

When the movie was over Bex sighed in relief.

“Wow, that was a good one. I hardly ever get scared with horror movies.” Bex said.

“Somehow I find that hard to believe.” Lyssa rolled her eyes.

Bex giggled and grabbed Lyssa’s hand before dragging her back to the lobby then over to the mini arcade.

“So you are good at fair games, but what about arcade games?” Bex wiggled her eyebrows.

“Of course, who do you think you are talking to?”

“An old lady.” Bex teased.

“You will regret insulting me, be prepared to be destroyed.” Lyssa led Bex over to the fighting game.

The two inserted money and mashed buttons, Bex grunting in frustration as Lyssa beat her character to a pulp.

“No fair! You’re cheating.” Bex complained as Lyssa did a 28 combo move.

“It’s called skill.” Lyssa finished Bex’s character off.

“It’s called skill.” Bex mocked Lyssa.

“Oh Rebecca, perhaps if you paid closer attention to things you would be better at noticing the little details.”

“Like what?”

“Like the fact that your b button is broken.” Lyssa pointed out.

Bex looked at the machine and noticed that the B button was stuck in place.

“Hey! You did cheat!” Bex began to chase Lyssa who ran away.

Lyssa laughed and jumped onto a motorcycle game, patting the bike next to her. Bex quickly hopped on, again they inserted money and began to race each other. Bex was hopeless, she crashed her virtual bike more times than the game could count.

“I must remember to never let you drive,” Lyssa said.

Bex giggled and got up and walked over to a shooting game, tossing Lyssa the plastic gun.

They shot down aliens left and right making a good team. Bex whooped when they broke the high score. Then they tried their hand at guitar hero. After that, they played arcade basketball. Then they won a brand new gaming console out of those fit the key in the hole games. They went to the counter to retrieve their prize then they left the theater.

“Have you seen my daughter?” The woman was asking people walking in and out of the movies.

It was pretty late at night and the theater was about to close.

“Ma’am, customers are complaining, we are going to have to ask you to leave. But if you would like we can hang a flyer on our flyer wall over there. You know actually a few people have gone missing in the past couple of months.”

Bex eyed the woman as she and Lyssa walked by.

“Please, God bless you.” The woman hung a flyer on the wall.

Before they rounded the corner Bex caught sight of the wall covered in missing person flyers. Her stomach turned and she had a bad feeling. Lyssa squeezed her hand and Bex looked at her.

“Don’t worry Rebecca. I will always protect you.”

“Do you think it’s them?” Bex asked.

“Stop thinking of such things. This is our date and I won’t let you ruin the mood like this.” Lyssa stood firm.

“Fine,” Bex sighed.

Lyssa frowned to herself and helped Bex into the car. They drove to an ice cream parlor and Bex helped herself to a double scoop of cookie dough ice cream with caramel syrup, whipped cream, and pecans on top. Lyssa just smiled at her as Bex stuffed her face, getting whipped cream on her nose.

“Take a picture with me,” Bex said.

“Huh?”

“Take a picture with me, I want a picture of us together so I can put it as my screen saver. You never take a picture with me, come on.” Bex scooted her chair across the table and forced Lyssa to be close to her.

Lyssa smiled at her adorableness, as Bex still had cream on the tip of her nose. Bex held out her phone and Lyssa kissed Bex on the cheek right as Bex took the picture.

“Aww, it’s a good one. Look at us, so cute.” Bex smiled.

Lyssa grabbed a napkin and cleaned off Bex’s nose.

Bex giggled at her.

Lyssa watched Bex set it as her screen saver, replacing the picture of Bex and her siblings goofing off while on vacation at a beach.

Just then the ice cream parlor employee hissed in pain as he cut himself trying to open a box of cups. The scent of blood hit Lyssa’s nose and her entire stomach lurched.

Bex grunted in pain as her neck started to throb badly.

“Lyssa! You said it wasn’t that bad.” Bex hissed rubbing her neck.

“S-sorry. Quickly, let’s go.” Lyssa got up.

Lyssa’s head pounded in a hunger headache which Bex could feel. They walked outside and Lyssa closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths to get herself back into control. Bex sighed in relief when the throbbing stopped.

“Lyssa that is it, you need to feed, come on.” Bex marched towards the car.

“Rebecca really I’m fine.”

“Valyssa Norwood get in the car this instant,” Bex demanded.

Lyssa sighed and got in the car and started it.

“When we get back to your place you are feeding and that is final. I won’t let you suffer like this.” Bex said firmly.

“As stubborn as ever.” Lyssa sighed.

Bex huffed and crossed her arms.

When they got back to the mansion. Lyssa led Bex inside towards a lounge room that Bex had only recently discovered. It had several bookshelves and a long lounge chair that Lyssa often liked to lay on and read in. The room is where Lyssa kept all her favorite books and movies. There was also a tv mounted to the wall.

Bex sat on the chair facing Lyssa.

Lyssa eyed her in worry. She was still getting the hang of eating in small increments so she wouldn’t hurt Bex. All her life she had eaten until she was full and moved onto the next, now she was forcing herself to eat in small amounts. It was tricky and tough getting used to, all she wanted to do was sink her teeth into Rebecca and drain her dry.

She pushed Bex down gently, forcing her to lay down. Then after a reassuring kiss on the lips, Lyssa turned Bex’s head to the side and exposed Bex’s neck. Bex’s thick blue veins called out to Lyssa. Lyssa positioned herself just right before biting down.

“Mmm.” Bex moaned in pleasure.

Lyssa took in slow greedy gulps of blood being sure not to waste a single drop.

Bex ran her hand up Lyssa’s arm and closed her eyes.

“God that feels good,” Bex moaned softly.

Bex began to grind into Lyssa’s leg which was wedged between her own. Lyssa pulled back her lips from Bex’s neck and took in several deep breaths to get herself back in control. Blood trickled out of the two holes on Bex’s neck.

“Emm, Lyssa… Don’t stop.” Bex begged.

Lyssa licked the wounds which caused Bex to moan again. A shiver went down Lyssa’s spine, she loved that ticklish feeling in her guts that Rebecca made her feel.

“More…” Bex begged.

“Carful my love, I might just take you up on that offer,” Lyssa whispered into her ear.

“Yes please, do it, I want more. Please, Lyssa, don’t torture me like this.” Bex whimpered.

“I can’t, you know I can’t. I don’t want to hurt you.” Lyssa also began to grind into Bex as she whispered in her ear.

“Have your way with me, I can take it. Please, Lyssa. It’s been too long.” Bex ran her hands up Lyssa’s back.

Lyssa pulled back a little to look into Bex’s eyes.

“Are you sure?” she asked.

“Yes, I’m sure. Plus you can feel everything I feel, I’ll even let you hear my thoughts that way you will know when I’ve hit my limit.”

“Why do you have to be so convincing?” Lyssa whispered against her lips.

“Shut up and kiss me.” Bex smashed their lips together.

Lyssa bit down on her lip and sucked it into her mouth.

“Mmm.” Bex moaned into her.

Lyssa used her strength to rip open Bex’s shirt and pull it off her body while their lips stayed connected. Bex used her hands to quickly unbutton Lyssa’s jeans. Lyssa pulled back a brief moment to fling her own shirt off and pull Bex out of her pants. Bex sat up slightly and quickly took her bra off.

Then the two quickly smashed their lips back together.

Lyssa moved down to Bex’s chest and began giving her tiny nicks where she could suck out blood.

“Yes, more.” Bex moaned.

Lyssa’s hand went inside Bex’s panties and Bex moaned loudly, pushing herself into Lyssa. Lyssa moaned against Bex’s skin as she could feel the arousal through their connection. Bex ran her hands through Lyssa’s hair and pushed Lyssa’s head down lower.

Lyssa pulled back and looked Bex in the eyes. Bex nodded and stared at her in lust and love. Lyssa smiled back and then pulled Bex’s panties off.

Together the two made love.

I'd need a master's degree in mathematics to tell you how many girl/boyfriends my mother didn't like.
