Months pass and Christian is heavy-eyed. He wants to fall asleep so badly, but he knows it’s almost that time. The time when Steve gets home from work. What’s he planning on doing to him today? How could he escape the pain? If just for one night Christian could stop the pain of rape, he could sleep properly. Every day his teachers ask him if he’s alright, his dark circles showing signs of maltreatment. “No. I’m fine.” He’d lie. Because he knew better.
Click! The door to the house is unlocked. Creeeaakk! The door slowly opens.
“Christian! I’m home!” Steve calls out.
Christian’s first instinct is to call out to him, but instead, decides to keep quiet.
“Christian?” Steve calls out again.
Christian heard footsteps outside his door, “Oh no. It’s him again,” he thought. He quickly hides under the bed. Christian’s heart felt like it would burst as the doorknob turned and the door opened.
“Christian, I know you’re in here.” Said Steve. “Come on out. Daddy has a fun game to play with you tonight.” The same game as always.
Steve looked around the room for Christian but couldn’t find him. “Where has this kid gone?” He thinks.
Christian started crying. He covered his mouth and nose so that his sniffs won’t be heard. Steve’s feet were now at the edge of the bed.
“Christian?” Silence again. Except this time, Christian accidentally let out a sniff. “Ah, so you are in here.” The feet now turned into knees. Christian was about to be discovered. Steve was now looking into Christian’s tearful eyes, smiling grossly, “You’ve made daddy wait.” Christian pees himself and whimpers.
“You know I don’t like waiting for you Christian.” Steve reaches underneath the bed and pulls Christian out, “You know you can’t hide from me.” He throws Christian on the bed, “Let’s have some fun!” He says as he grabs Christian to undress him.
