Kane: "Ten years I trifled away, looking for some meaning in empty holes not realizing... I was always home, blaming others.. like the curse of looking at the shadows in a cave"

Valery: "Wow philosophy and self-pity mixed together, now is not the time for self relfection Kane"

Kane: " Yeah... yea I know. Hey.. those glasses we saw, chewed by the blood rose or whatever, they were from a person right?"

Valery: ”Correct the terrain in this area is hostile, the drink we ingested at the bar caused me to miscalculate and manifest us to one of the most dangerous areas in the region”

I felt a slight throb in my chest region, I could feel the anxiety, and it felt real, that made it worse. The barrier was getting closer now, it shimmered translucent, slowly producing waves and a humming sound that reminded me of insects getting zapped. I grunted clutching my shirt.

Valery: “Your vitals are spiking Kane”

Kane: “ I know… it will pass”

I exhaled heavily as I fell on one knee. This was real I thought, it couldn’t be, this only happens in fiction but I was right here in the midst of it. Something rustled in the thicket next to me. How I wished for a quiescent moment. A rabbit like creature jumped out, ripping pieces of a bush with its sharp crescent like claws.

Kane: “ What the hell is that, and why is it white with no hair”

Valery: “Shut up, a Skabbit and it has no eyes either”

Kane: “ A Skabbit… what kind of lazy name is that!!”

The creature started tapping the ground with its claws, it sounded like a bored student tapping a desk, a blood thirsty no eyed with a weird man bun protruding from its head student.

Valery: “You can kill it, trust me and it’s real name is Crescent Claw”

Kane: “That thing it’s fucking smiling at me, a god damn I phone smiley face with no eyes, no way, no way”

Valery: “Put your hands together and push outwards, like exhaling in yoga”

The tapping made me nervous; the beast wanted us to move, it moved by the vibrations of its surroundings. A blue screen with stats appeared as I did what Valery asked.

Kane (Alcohol San) Level: 1

Strength: 1 Agility: 2 + (2) Vitality: 1 Wisdom: 1 Charisma: -20

HP 100 MP 50 Attack: 0 - 5 Def: 0

Traits: Coward

Power: ???

Kane: “Alcohol san, Coward, - 20 Charisma, what do I look like Mickey Rourke in 20 years”

Valery: “Your speed is all you need, take some time feel the power in your legs build, it’s got a weakness behind its head, a man bun looking thing pull it out”

Okay just breathe, feel the power slowly increase in my legs, it feels like rivers and streams of power leading to the tips of my toes.

The power in my legs kept increasing as did the weight, the ground cracked under the pressure.

Valery “Oh no”

The beast jumped with the crescent claws shining from the rays of the suns, a force of wind blew behind me as I took off, sand and rock scattering, the claws barely scratching my side as I maneuvered and dodged in the air, a few drops of blood splattered on the Skabbits face. I was behind it, it tried to kick back in vain but I was already standing on top of it, the world turned red as I pulled it’s brains out of a bowl like structure the man bun was attached to and began striking it with my bare hands.

The rivers they are raging now, all over me, it feels good, I want to punch it to mush, break it apart, break it all apart.

Then there was a electric shock in my hand.

Kane: “What the fuck was that”

My hands were covered in beast pieces, I stumbled to the closest tree hand where the beast had scratched me and puked.

Level 2 Reached +5 skill points

Sadistic Perk gained + 5 Strength – 5 Charisma + 50 percent exp when you enjoy the slaughter.

Berserk Mode: Double strength, double health, can be used once in battle, can be given to allies but if weak minded might attack you.

Kane: “Great I’m a psychopath ain’t I, the strength I can feel it, a warm tingle inside me”

Valery: “Thank god you can’t feel the ugliness”

The power inside me makes it easy to walk, as if gravity had suddenly vanished and this is only level 2… wait ugly, fucking valery.

Valery: “Stop crying your ugliness only affects the NPCs, you can increase your standing in cities and people, it’s only a first impression”

Kevin: “Wait there’s other players in this world as well”

I could finally feel a sliver of hope in me, if there was others I wasn’t alone, perhaps there was somebody I knew, I looked at the blue field as it opened, the light was bright to my eyes, I guess here is where it all begins.

Valery: “Many and quite a few you know too”
