I whip around pulling out two throwing daggers and yell, “Protect your partners everyone!”

All hell broke around me as a score of thirty men rushed out of the woods and engaged us in a fight. I watch as the Silver Dragons pair up with their partners and turn to face the bandits. Alec was a few feet away from me when a giant of a man stepped in front of him. He was at least seven foot tall and welding a thick wooden staff. Alec raised his sword but before he could strike the man delt a heavy blow to his chest, sending him flying back a few paces. But he was on his feet in seconds and charging back at the man.

This I saw in only a flash for I was engaged with a swift-footed opponent. I dodged his first strike and parried his second. Then I slashed one of my throwing daggers across his arm. He yelped and took a couple of quick steps back which gave me enough time to throw my daggers and pin him against a tree. He struggled to get free but I quickly drew two more daggers and threw them at his legs. They pinned the fabric there to the tree giving him no way of escape.

I felt a presence behind me and drawing my twin white blades I feel someone slice a line down my back. I whip around and bringing one of my swords up, I push away the huge broadsword above me. I swipe with the dull edge of my second sword at his ankles, bringing him down on his knees. I hit his head with my hilt. Knocking him out instantly.

I hear a whistling sound and leaping forward I catch an arrow about to go through the back of one of my elves. I snape it in half and look through the trees growling. My eyesight changes and I see heat shaped figures perched in the trees. I grab a knife from the fur of my cloak and throw it at the figure hitting his arm. He yelled and fell out of the tree landing hard on the ground. I whirl around picking up one of my swords where I had dropped it.

“To me Silver Dragons!” I yelled running to the center of the dirt road, “To me!”

My elves and Alec melted toward my side and we stood in formation ready to move in an instant. The bandits were helping each other up and grouping up again. They were about to charge us again when a horn sounded up in the trees and a young man jumped out of the boughs of a tall oak tree.

“Stop,” He said to the bandits, “These aren’t the sheriff's men, err, and woman. Can’t you see the sign on their amour? They're from a different kingdom and we only rob from those who deserve it.”

One of the men started to protest but the young man stopped him with a raised hand. He then turned to me, he had a chiselled jaw, short dusty brown hair, bright blue eyes, light pink lips curved into a smirk and an athletic build. He walked over to me and bowed, “I apologize for what my men have done to your group m’ lady, I was not aware that they were here.”

I step forward and lower my hood, “It is fine, my group is unharmed. In fact, I do believe that it is your men that have received damage.”

He chuckled a bit, “Yes well your men and women are highly skilled I wouldn’t mind learning a few tricks from the one who trained them.”

“If I had time I wouldn’t mind teaching you a few things.”

“Oh, you're the trainer?’

“Yup surprised?”

“Not really I should have guessed you are quite skilled with your swords Captain…?”

I smiled, “Captain Tail.”

“Welcome Captain Tail, I am Archer Hood and this is the Sherwood forest.”
