It had been months since Raven had stretched her human forms limbs and longer since she had last spoken a human tongue. But her keen mind was up to the challenge, and she slipped into the village without incident, the busy common folk ignoring her in favor of their work.
With no precious metals or produce upon her person, Raven found herself avoiding the various stalls and instead settled upon a rock near the villages well. Very little had changed from when she had observed this quiet village weeks ago, nothing of note would ever occur...
So who was that stranger with the ridiculous fluffy hair?
He walked boldly through the village, ratty furs adorning his frame in such a gracious manner one could mistake him for royalty. His wild hair and intense eyes bore none of the softness of those kings; this was a man who had killed and would be quite willing to do so again. He was not apart of this village, Raven knew this to be fact and if there was anything she shared with her avian form was a burning curiosity.
