I am in the bathroom with Zayn and Xavier while I wash my face in the sink. I keep smelling forest rain so I know that Xavier must be putting out his pheromones to try to calm me. I take a deep shaky breath before looking in the mirror, seeing them watching me in the reflection. I play with my lip ring and look back at them, putting on my best fake smile.

 “Come on guys, I’m okay now. Do you want to go to class or skip the rest of the day since it’s Friday?” I watch them for their reactions. Zayn smiles and looks down at his feet, thinking we did not catch the smile. Xavier looks between us like he is contemplating what we should do. 

“It’s your call Zayn, I will leave the decision up to you,” Xavier says and turns to Zayn who is still smiling at his shoes. 

“I kind of want to skip class and go hang out with both of you,” the omega says shyly, not looking at us, “Our graduation is Monday and once I find my mate, we may not be spending much time together, so I want to have a weekend filled with fun!” The omega finally looked up, a smile beaming across his face brighter than I have ever seen. 

“Well you heard him Alpha, let’s bring this little omega to have some fun,” I say nudging Xavier.

Xavier smiles at me and puts his arm around my shoulders, “yes, let’s go have some fun.”

“Come, I know a great place to go. Follow me!” I say to them as we head out the bathroom, checking the hallways for teachers first since we are supposed to be in class.

 We make it out of the bathroom and into the parking lot without being seen. Once we reach outside, I realize that I drove my bike here today and I don’t have the side car attached so there is no way I can take all 3 of us. I turn to look at the other two and see that Xavier has keys in his hand. He smirks at me, waving them in my face.

 “Are you going to let me drive your precious car pretty boy,” I sneer teasingly at him. He scoffs and pulls the keys back. 

“Well if you want to be like that then I guess not”, he starts walking to his car, calling over his shoulder, “I just figured since you know the ‘perfect’ place to go then you would have to drive instead of giving me directions.”

“Okay, okay, I’m sorry. Let me drive us there so I can surprise you both!” I shout, running after him with Zayn hot on my heels. 

 Xavier chuckled, looking back at me with his big beautiful smile. ‘Wait, wait, wait. Did I just think his smile was beautiful? What am I thinking?!’ 

I blush, hard, and take the keys out his hand. He gives me a puzzled look before going to the other side and opening the door for Zayn. Zayn giggles and gets into the back seat while I get in the driver seat and Xavier in the passenger seat.

 “Buckle up boys! Let’s go have some fun!” I say as I start the car and begin to back out of the parking spot at school. Xavier begins to play with the radio and turns it to a rock station that is playing a softer rock song. I recognize the beginning of the song. “It’s Been A While” by Staind. I see Zayn in the back seat start to bob his head to the song as Xavier drums his fingers on his legs. ‘I didn’t realize they liked rock music. I figured they would be more of the pop music type people,’ I thought to myself as a smile crept onto my face. Zayn leans in between the seats and starts to sing in my ear, “And it’s been a while since I could hold my head up high.” 

Xavier joins in, leaning towards me and smirking, “And it’s been a while since I first saw you.” They both continue to look at me while leaning in, singing in unison now, “And it’s been a while since I could stand on my own two feet again. And it’s been a while since I could call you.” They look at me expectantly. Trying to hide my smile, I let out a small sigh and start to sing, “and everything I can’t remember! As fucked up as it all may seem! The consequences that I rendered! I stretched myself beyond my means!” They both look at me in awe. We all continue to sing in unison for the remainder of the song with silly smiles on our faces. When the song is over, I can feel Zayn still staring at me. I look into the rearview mirror at him, “what? Why are you staring?” He suddenly blushes hard, turning his head slightly trying to hide it, “I…I didn’t realize you could sing so well. Your voice sounds so soothing. Almost like an angel.” 

It’s now my turn to blush, and let me tell you, my face is as red as a tomato. “Thanks,” I mumble while watching the road. 

I hear Xavier clear his throat, looking out the window now and I could see the tips of his ears are red, “Yeah, your voice is really nice. Who would have known you could sing so well.” 

 The car goes silent after that, but it isn’t an uncomfortable silence. We have been driving for about thirty minutes and now I can see our destination ahead. I pull the blue sports car onto the dirt road I know like the back of my hand. Both Zayn and Xavier look at me, confused looks taking over their faces. 

 “Where are we? I mean I know we have been driving for a while, but where exactly are we?” Zayn ask then suddenly I hear him suck in a breath, “You didn’t bring us out here to kill us, right?! I don’t want to die yet! I haven’t even met my mate yet or experienced half the things I want to do with them in life!” Zayn is freaking out while Xavier is checking out our surroundings outside the window, silent as ever. 

I chuckle softly and shake my head slightly, “I am not bringing you here to kill you. That is ridiculous. I am bringing you to a place I come to get away. And here we are…...”
