This is a first draft so there will be some plot changes as I continue working, but I'd love to see how it does and get some feedback.

There will be depictions of violence and sexuality (one of the main characters is a slave, so abuse is going to be a theme of his past, but I will put a warning and mark those chapters mature), but I'll post a warning before the violent ones, and it is not the focus. The overarching theme is healing/growth!. This is a slow-burn LGBTQ+ story so if you don't like that, don't read.
