"How much trouble do you think I have blocked already, two nights ago when you decided to go grocery shopping, Your bodyguard caught at the man who was ready to shot you." he reasons out.

"I know, and I even know who is the mastermind."

"How?"

"I'm in the technology industry remember? I can see anything if I want to." That night he knew that a man is tailing him from behind. Miles hired the man to kill him, he is paranoid that someone would learn his secret and erasing all the evidence. The bastard doesn't know how to stop, he might somehow guess that he is in this town because of their plan that if they decided to retire and go incognito the town is the perfect place for them. Lucky for Kaidan, he did not say the address of ranch before the scandal broke out.

"I know but I'm not getting your bodyguard out, he would stay inconspicuous and would protect you in the dark." he insisted, he is not comfortable knowing that someone wants his life.

Kaidan is too lazy to argue, he can just do whatever he wants. He is not the one paying the bodyguard anyway. He drinks his warm milk before moving his hand to close the call.

"Don't turn it off yet, I have something to tell you." Kaidan arches his eyebrow asking him to continue.

"We intercept a man acting as a press going inside to your bogus residence. After an hour of 'interviewing' he admitted that he is from the underworld, they are trying to kidnap you and make you work for them." he informs Kaidan making him stop his coding and look at the man. James is really not pulling his feet off. Oh shit, the man is serious.

"And I'm not joking, don't come out of your residence if it is not really necessary and tell me when you want to come back and I will come and get you." his seemingly plain tone hide his real concern.

"Okay."

"And be good and go to sleep," James commands the younger man, his eyes is a little red probably because of his long-time exposure of radiation.

"I will." Kaidan looks up, dropped a few eyes drops to ease his dry eyes.

Kaidan wipes out the overflow of eye droplets, slightly narrowing his glittering eyes—an action effective enough to move the heart and the soul. Attracted James breathing briefly stopped. He leaned on his back overlapping his legs to hide his arousal, before trying to smooth out his breathing and heartbeat.

He sees how the man slightly stretched out making the end of his shirt go up, he can see the man's belly button and slender waist not helping his situation.

Kaidan removes his wristwatch before going inside the bathroom forgetting to close the video call.

After fifteen minutes, James can see the man wearing nothing but a small towel on his waist while drying his hair with another one. He can see him putting his pyjama on before looking at the holograph. Without looking at James he closes the device.

"Pervert," Kaidan whispers before smiling softly. He can see that James is interested in him. The man would never station a bodyguard and even tampering his device if he doesn't like him. He is quite flattered by the attention he is getting but he doesn't know how to even react or feel. He still has inhibition on dating a fellow man. He is not gay or he doesn't know if he is. He would just let it be and go with the flow.

After hearing the news about the underworld, Kaidan doesn't know if it is safe for him to reveal his identity. Sure, he wants to in-act his revenge but not to the extent that he would compromise his safety.

His revenge is harder than what he been expecting, everything is all set and ready but the underworld comes blocking his road ahead.

He really wants to know the name of the gang targeting him but James says that the man commits suicide before they properly ask him. The man just leaves him a clue by saying 'the heart would come to him'. He is clueless about the heart, it must be some kind of alias and the underworld network is hard to breach, they must have a genius hacker in their side. He doesn't want to leave some trace behind so he is advancing slowly while using his AI and not the device he fashioned to himself.

He wants to see and possibly download all the members of the underworld to look for some clue, he is not comfortable knowing that someone is trying to get him when he less expected it. He wants to be ready when the time comes.
