She struggled to breath taking labored breaths as her lungs burned. Her feet hit the pavement melodically thump-thump-thump it sounded like a heart beat. Her suit case smashed against her heels.

"OUCH" she yelled.

A woman whispered to her partner " what an ill mannered girl!" 

Alice kept running till she reached the school. She was stopped by two woman their bulky bodies blocking her path. 

"Get away servant the school is off limits to peasants."

Alice sighed. 

" We don't want to use FORCE" the other woman shouted.

"I'm just-" Alice spoke.

" NO TALKING BACK YOU TRASH."

Alice glared at them " I am Alice Castell please leave me alone I am in this school"

One of the women stepped back but the other laughed.

" HA yeah right and I'm the King!"

" That's treason you know" a boy stepped forward.

"Oh Prince did we offend you!" The women's eyes filled with fear they trembled.

Alice wasn't sure why but she trembled too.

"Yes" he scowled "  Marcus told you to guard the school not bully the students!"

"Ye-s" the women said in unison " we will not do that in the future."

"Thank you its just a mistake hopefully you can afford it" the boy smiled " now go to the Block instead."

The women walked towards the streets.

Alice looked him in the eye "thank you."

He smiled warmly and Alice held out her hand.

"My name's Alice nice to meet you."

"The pleasure is mine" he shook her hand. 

She ran into the school and shouted back at him " bye."

He smiled again and yelled bye back at her.

He then looked at his hands wiped them off on his pants vigorously and followed her into the school.
