In a room full of hazy smoke, she holds her court. She weaves tales in a voice once pure as amber gold. Now it softly grates against the ear. Rough worn, worthy a woman of her stature. All are mesmerized that listen. They hear life in that voice.
Inktober has officially approved a Writer's Edition! Each story can only be 50 words and be based on the daily prompt. So, of course, I'd love a challenge. Why not? I can't draw, so this will be...fun?
