Tears accompany scrapes, bruises, little cuts and bumps. To a little one they seem huge. So much blood. Gonna die. But there is magic in band aids from Daddy. And Mommy's kisses have spells in them. A little ice pressed to the bump. A cuddle. Then ready to play again.
