“First option is” said by the Red Slime while it jump down and cross the slimes traffic then sliding toward Butch.

“Go south where the Safe Zone entrance is and get out from there”

The red slime said as it point its limb to the opposite direction from the lake, where the slimes dive in and out.

“But you have to walk throughout the forest for more than seven hours.”

The red slime said.

“…What about the other one?” 

Butch said.

“When I completely build this place, I’ll leave this place by climbing the cliff in the West and set out journey. You just wait until then and come with me.” 

The Red Slime said as it look to the unfinished construction side.

“How long do I have to wait then?” 

Butch ask as she sat down on the ground in front of The Red Slime, it was her sign of respect. As she was not looking down to it.

And The Red Slime acknowledge that too.

“One more day would be suffice.”

The Red Slime said and then it look the unfinished construction side again.

“Then I’ll wait for you to finish your building then” 

Butch replied.

“Is that so, I’ll excuse myself then, I still have some unfinished work to do.”

It turn to Butch, speak in formal tone and then slowly slide away.

“Okay, I’ll looking around for a time being then.”

Butch said to the red slime who’s sliding away.

“That’s fine by me, you can go look around and check anything you want before the journey.”

The Red Slime replied.

4 Days since Demon Lord Inheritor subjugation has ended.

Butch was strolling around Slimes Village, there were not much to look other than slimes that coming in and out.

The entrance of this village other than the lake are small hole on the wall, it had a square shaped and had a height of 15 cm. it seems that it only made for slimes.

Butch take a few step back away from the wall, then.

“Hyup!!”

She use momentum of running to jump and climb over the four meter wall.

As she come down to the outside, in front of her was full with forest while the other way is the lake with a cliff.

(So I flew from over there) Butch thought as she look at the North-west , there were the cliff that The Red Slime was talking about.

The cliff was pretty tall, Butch try to guess the height of it.

(Twenty-five…no, thirty meter maybe?)

Butch then take a walk on the lakeside as she looking around, thinking to herself.

(I can't believe that I've survived from that)

As she sat down on the lakeside, looking the wave washing her bare feet.

(Father…Mother…I wonder what you might be doing right now.)

She thought, making a sad expression.

Butch felt that something squishy touching her leg.

“Hmm?!” 

Butch regain her sense as she look at her leg.

Obviously it was a slime, clinging her leg.

It seems that this slime are coming up from the lake

It had a unique deep glitter blue color, other slimes Butch has seen in the village normally are either sky blue color or light green color.

“What are you doing here little slime?” 

She pick it up from her leg.

It seems this time she can grab a slime just fine unlike last time.

“…”

Of course it didn’t replied, slimes can’t talk…except that red one.

SPLASH!

The slime that she hold splash water at her.

“…what are you doing.”

Butch said then put the blue slime back at the lakeside and then stand up.

She then saw the lake waters began to disappear around the blue slime that she let go.

No…rather it was engulf by that little slime.

Su…..su……su…..su

SPLASH!

It did it again and this time it keep squirting the water at her.

“Uwgh!! Can you please stop that?!”

 Butch said as she tried to prevent water from getting on her face.

It then stop after she said that.

“…” 

It literally stop doing anything.

“…” 

Butch also surprise that it actually stop.

“…” 

It just keep staring at here, as if it was waiting for something.

“Are you…perhaps……” 

Butch said as she did a pondered gesture.

“…” 

The Glittery blue slime’s still not moving, just staring at her.

(Let’s try it) She thought.

“You can move now.” 

Butch said.

BOINK!!

It immediately jump at her.

“Gah!” 

Butch surprised by that sudden approach, she fell on her back.

WOBBLE

She look up and see it cling on her chest.

“What I’m going to do with you” 

Butch get up as she pick this slime up.

Back to the unfinished construction site, inside the Slimes Village.

After having surveyed everything around the village, Butch was standing outside construction radius, holding the Glittery blue slime.

“That slime just became your companion isn’t it.”

The Red Slime said as he creating stone pillar with his {Skill} {Creation [V]}.

“I knew it.” 

Butch mutter as she heard The Red Slime statement.

“But how? When?” 

She said as she look at the slime in her hand.

“That was certainly unique slime you have there, a {Water Slime} huh.” 

Red Slime said.

“…” 

Butch didn’t reply.

“Rather plant or a rock, it consumed the lake water instead.” 

Red Slime continue while setting the pillars straight.

“This slime understand what I said, like you. Why is that?” 

Butch ask.

“Slimes are pure entity when their born, and then environment shape them. Slimes can almost absorb anything, even mana are no exception.” 

Red slime explain

“Uwah!” Butch’s surprise

The glittery blue slime slip from butch hand and jump and rest on her shoulder.

“Why is this slime keep jumping and splashing water at me?! Ugh my cloth are all damp.”

Butch said with slight irritation.

“Don’t you understand? It had absorb your mana, and now it had the same mana as you. And that make it feel more comfortable the more it closer to you” 

Red Slime said.

“I’ve never heard or read any of that before, how you knew this” Butch ask.

“…I just know? I’m a slime after all” 

The Red Slime shrug it off with questionable answer.

“…If you say so.” 

Butch said as she then turn to the Glittery deep blue slime which still on her shoulder.

“Ah…Could you give me some space?” 

She ask the Glittery blue slime.

“…” 

It then jump down after heard that.

“So…do I need to bring him with me?” 

Butch ask Red Slime.

“What do you mean? It’s now your companion. I can only command my subjects or my pact, but this one is already become your pact, it only listen to you and you have to look after him” 

Red Slime explain.

“…Forever?”

 Butch ask.

“Until it’s no longer live.” 

Red Slime said.

“That’s a cruel thing to say.”

 Butch said.

“Don’t pretend to be sensitive, you’re warrior aren’t you? Warrior suppose to be cold blood isn't it?” 

The Red Slime said.

“I don’t know what are you talking about.”

 Butch denied The Red Slime remark.

“Here.” 

The Red slime said as it drop something in front of her.

It was cloths, there were mini size plate armor in there as well.

“Hmm…these?” 

Butch said.

“You said your cloth are all damp, so I made you’re a new cloths…your current one are already worn out anyway” 

Red Slime said.

“These cloths look similar…” 

Butch said.

“Of course you feel familiar with those, I’ve got the cloth, metal and the other material from those corpse that has been left up there.”

Red Slime said.

“Corpse?!” 

Butch ask, making uncomfortable face.

“Don’t be like that. When I’ve consumed something, I stored it.”

 Red Slime explain.

“And it’s not like <Dimensional Box> which you just put it there, my storing pouch was to stored what I’ve eaten, mean that it was stored in molecule material.” 

Red Slime said.

“Mole- what?!” 

Butch didn’t understand the last two word.

“Agh! It just mean that when I eaten something, I dissolve it and create something new with what I’ve ate. So I’ve eaten bloody, damaged cloths and armor, dissolved all of that then using the cloths material that had been stored and then create the cloths BOOM! And you got the cloth. Get it?” 

Red Slime said with irritation.

“You’re make it more confusing.” 

Butch replied.

“Alright, I separate the blood and filth from those cloths before I create it. So it just like newly made cloth.” Red Slime gave up and give normal explain.

“I understand that.” Butch said.

“Aye aye, take the cloths and leave. I still had a job to do. And don’t forget to take that slime with you.” 

Red Slime said as it turn back to create another pillar.

“Okay, let’s go little guy AND don’t jump on me.” 

Butch take the cloths and then call the glittery blue slime.
