Soon, Henry realized he was near the parlor in the manor. He knocked on the door.

“Enter,” His father called from the room.

The boy pushed the door open and entered the room.

“Hello father,” Henry said. “Mr. Jones said you had something you wanted to talk about?”

“We have some very important quests coming for dinner today so I need you to be on your best behavior.  Do you remember Mr. Adams and Mr. Revere?”

“Yes.”

“They and some of their associates will be here tonight. After dinner, we’ll be in the parlor talking business. Your grandparents and mother are on their way to Boston for the evening and won’t return until tomorrow. I don’t want you to tell them about this meeting. It’s very important that they don’t know anything about what was said. Understood?”

“Yes Father,” Henry told him.
