Sir, we can't find Kaidan's whereabouts." a panicky voice informed James making him stand on his seat. The people in the conference quickly look at him in a questioning manner but he brushes it off. The meeting is damn. This one is more important.

"Pardon?"

"Sir, sir Kaidan is missing. We can't contact his phone, he didn't arrive at the airport even though the guards at his residence says that he drive out early in the morning, he even informed them that he would be gone for many days because he has to attend to a meeting but he never came." Gwen said, biting her nail on stress and nervousness.

James walks over at one of the chairs in the lobby. He flopped down, without thinking he wipes his face using his hand in frustration before clenching and unclenching his hand.

"Did you call the police?" James asked the woman sniffling on the other line of the phone.

"N..no.." Gwen stammers, "I want to call the police but I'm afraid that..." before she trailed off, her sniffling become a full-blown brawling.

"Call the police, tell them that he is missing. I'm going to try and catch a flight this afternoon okay." he is nervous as hell but he wants to have a clear mind and avoid showing panic to the already brawling lady.

Taking a deep breath to calm himself James continued " Call the police, I'll call my security team to help them on looking for him. Stay calm and inform me if you have any lead. I have to go now." before closing his phone.

'I hope you are okay!" James says to himself before calling his security team. He really regrets calling off Kaidan's bodyguard for a vacation because he thought that Kaidan would be safe on B City.

He finished packing his bag, call his secretary to arrange his flight and go to the airport for an hour. His flight is scheduled to take off after lunch. So far they don't have any lead or trace of Kaidan.

"Sir! Sir!" Gwen shouted earning James attention, after five hours of flying, he arrived at the S City Airport.

James quickly goes to them, carrying his bag. He can see how bloodshot Gwen's eyes still is, much be because of too much crying.

"The police says that at six o'clock in the morning, they receive a distress signal coming from a GPS, they track the GPS owner together with its current location, the owner of the car is Kaidan but both the car and him is missing." Gwen's informed him the moment he sits on the car. The travelling and the lack of sleep and food is taking a toll at his body making him lethargic. Plus the stress of not knowing if Kaidan is safe or even alive make him develop a headache. Massaging his head, he closes his eyes to relax them even for a minute.

"We will go to the police station, I want to hear all their findings and information regarding Kaidan," James said, ordering the driver of their destination.

"Are you okay sir?" come Gwen's concerned voice. James just nodded as an answer before asking for a pain reliever and a packet of biscuit.

James can feel his head throbbing in pain, he is hungry and tired but he really wants to know the findings and news about Kaidan. He is afraid, afraid of the worst possibilities.

"Sir" Gwen said, making him go back to the reality.

"We have arrived sir!" she informed him making James look outside, sure enough, they are now in the police station.

Opening the door, James is greeted by a grim face of his head of security. Without even asking for an answer, base on the face of Ian, he knew that they don't have any good news.

"Sir!" Ian greeted him before following him towards the precinct. Ian is an ex-marine who later become his head of security.

"Sir, as for now, we are currently looking for Mr Felix whereabouts. The distress signal he sends us abruptly ended so our current speculation is someone tampered his GPS tracker." the chief inspector informed James. The police are all baffled and confused by this investigation. They don't have any clue to look at. It seems like the man just vanishes in thin air.

"We don't have any clue that would possibly point out what happened because of the heavy snow. I'm sorry Mr Williams, we will try our best to investigate but I want to ask you some questions about Mr Felix if it is okay with you?"

"It's fine."

"We become aware that Mr Felix is the owner of El Futuro by the acting CEO and that piece of fact is confidential, now, who is the person who knows his identity aside from you and his employees?"

"My PA, bodyguards and some of my higher staffs know his identity but they all signed a non-disclosure agreement. As a matter of fact, nobody knows that Mr Felix is here in S City for his security purposes."

"Then, perhaps do you know someone who has a bad motive for Mr Felix?"

He really wants to say Miles but he quickly over-ride it, the man doesn't know that Kaidan come back and the underworld doesn't even know Kaidan's face or even name. "As far as I know, none!"

"that's all, thank you for your cooperation, we will continue to look for any clue or motives pertaining to his disappearance. We will just call you when we found something."

After putting his contact number and shaking hands to the man, James decided to go home, his team of securities volunteer to stay and help the police on finding Kaidan.

And for the first time for many years, James had a nightmare, he can see how Kaidan is in frigid icy water holding his hand up calling for his help. James wants to grab his hand but Kaidan keeps on going down like someone is tugging him at the bottom of the ocean until he can't see him any more. It
