Aairah was frozen to her seat...she never knew that she would ever meet the king in real life.
She did no know the proper way of addressing a royalty. So she did what ever she saw of movies and did an exaggerated curtsey and wished the royal duo, "assalamualaikum his royal highness her royal highness." She finished with a nod to which she noticed a smirking mohammed. He kids joined her in wishing the two.
The king and his aunt smiled warmly at the young doctor and the little patients.
Aairah was introduced as the new resident of the hospital doing her short stint in the general surgery department. This surprised the emir a little for as the girl was too young to be a surgeon or even studying to be a surgeon. She seemed very nervous, so he took the initiative to strike up he conversation which tensed up the chief. He had already scared her enough for her to not open her mouth. And she seemed nervous and jittery which means she would keep her mouth shut and he was confident.
"The children seem to have a good time, good job." Mohammed remarked.
"Thank you sir, they are lovely children." She replied with a nervous smile and glanced at the chief to which her smile immediately turned to being a slight more nervous. She was sweating and Mohammed felt that it wasn't him who got her agitated. It was the towering man behind him who was called The Chief.
"Aren't you a little young to be a resident here? Where did you do your medicine?" He asked...he was very curious to know what Aairah was up to all these years.
His question lit her eyes up and she glanced once more to he man behind the king. Maybe she got her approval as she began to speak.
" I did my medicine in India. Age restricted me to join , but after a lot of ups and downs finally entered college." She said proudly.
"Well would you like to show me he department you work in." He asked and turned to he chief , "she is nothing short of impressive."
"We hired the best your highness." He replied with a tight smile.
" Dr. Mahroof I would like to borrow this intelligent bunny of yours to show me around." He stared at aairah intently trying to imply something to her. His stare was returned with a confused look.
"Sure your highness." Replied Dr.Mahroof hesitantly.
Aairah nodded in agreement and turned to Shamsa "sahib alsuwwm turid 'an taqra lil'atfal?" She offered (your highness would you like to read to the children?.....I do know Arabic but my grammer is terrible so any Arabs out there no offence.)
"Ana ahibb iqra lahum." The elder royal replied and smiled in return. (I would love to read to them.)
Aairah went over to the nearby shelf and picked up a book with large letters and handed it over to Shamsa.
At this point Mohammed noticed that a child on his bed next to Dr. Mahroof was cowering in fear.
Aairah escorted him out he ward and was leading him to the surgery department the closest one was cardio surgery department. When they were further away from anyones ears. Mohammed turned to Aairah. Usually he comforts the other person to let them speak, but he knew hey both don't have time to spare the conversation so he dove straight to what he was about to ask.
"Take me to where there is no surveillance."
