Next day, I remember I was specially tired. Booze got me too hard, and brought a migraine with it as well. I dragged myself out of bed, showered and got ready to face the horrible, grey day outside. As I walk down the stairs, I notice my roommate was still there, in the same place as I had last seen him.
Shaking my head, I walk towards him and notice he is sound asleep, his computer still on his lap. “He must’ve been really tired to have fallen asleep sitting like this.”, I thought. I take the laptop away and realize it’s still on, a faint light coming from the screen. At that moment, I see the cable from his headphones is connected to the laptop. One of the headphone buds falls off his ear as I do this, emitting a sound I haven’t heard in years.
