Alex’s pov

I was at the park with Amelia and the puppy. I get a call on my phone, it's Jake i answer “hello, is this Alex” i get worried “yes, who is this” Amelia comes over holding the puppy “i'm Jake's friend Mich, but I have some bad news” tears prick my eyes “Jake was in an accident and in the hospital” I cover my mouth dropping my phone. Amelia answers it for me. I start crying, I remember when he left the house. Amelia takes me to her car and we drive to the hospital. When we get there she says she’ll stay with the puppy, I ran inside and ask the lady at the front desk what room Jake is in. The whole time tears are falling down my face, when i get to his room, I rushed over to him. I lay over his chest, i'm on my knees I beg “Jake, i'm sorry please don't leave me” then I feel a hand on my shoulder pulling me away “no! Leave me alone!” I shake the person off, i see Jake lift his hand up he rubs my head. “Alex” I look at him my eyes watering “you have to be quiet in a hospital” I stand up, him pulling me to his face “Jake?” he smiles “you don't have to worry” i close my eyes for a second happy he’s alright, he pulls me down and kissed my forehead, then wrapping his arm around my neck and kissing my lips. He’s so warm I tears slowly fall down my face. I slowly pull away just enough to break the kiss. “ don't worry Fortunately he came through with only minor injuries, they say he’ll be released within a couple of days” i pull away farther, and look back “Mich?” Jake grip on me loosens and his hands falls back onto the bed. “Come with me we should let Jake rest” he continues “okay” we leave and he takes me to the waiting room. We talked for a bit and then I leave going back into Amelia’s car.
