A four on four battle rages on taking the skies. Echoes of each clash shake the ground as Goku, Vegeta, Broly and Piccolo face off against the Armored Squadron. Salza pounces on Goku without leaving any room for him break away using his ki blade. Neiz is too fast for Piccolo to catch up and manages to knock the Namekian to the ground. Piccolo fires a ki blast at him, but Neiz speeds past it and fires a blast back that causes Piccolo to lose an arm.

Dore furiously pounds at Broly only to have not made a single dent into the saiyan.

“Damn” he says, “why won’t you budge?”

Broly unleashes one single blow straight to Dore’s chest powerful enough to send him flying into the nearest tree. He walks towards him filled with controlled rage while Dore tries to recover fast from the punch.

“This just got more interesting.”

Meanwhile, Vegeta and NightHollow exchange blows, but it appears Vegeta is having a hard time pin pointing a pattern to strike. He senses something very familiar to him that he hasn’t felt in a long time coming from his opponent and can’t pin point what it is. NightHollow wastes no time with his strikes that Vegeta is starting to recognize, but is unsure where.

“Who is this guy?”

Vegeta manages to get a distance away and regroups with Goku and Piccolo. Salza and Neiz arrive beside NightHollow and are eager to make the next strike. Piccolo holds his wound, channeling all his ki into regenerating a new arm as Goku and Vegeta stay alert.

“I’ll give it to them. These are no joke” Goku says.

“It’s nothing we haven’t been through before Kakarot. Let’s show them what a Super Saiyan is like.”

In an instant, Vegeta and Goku transform into Super Saiyans and get into fighting stance, waiting for their opponents next move. Salza smirks eager to start the fight once more and prepares to charge after them.

“Let’s switch things up on them shall we?”

“With pleasure” Neiz responds.

The three charge directly at them and as Goku and Vegeta are ready, they vanish right in front of them, causing the two saiyans to looks around.

“Where’d they go?”

BAM! - Neiz lands a blow directly in Goku’s face while Salza strikes behind Vegeta. Piccolo doesn’t have enough time to react when NightHollow kicks him in the side of his chest. Then, the three Armored Squadron members attack on all sides, exchanging blows one after the other towards Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo. It becomes too overwhelming as Vegeta tries to break off their tag team with a Big Bang Attack, but before he can charge it up, NightHollow knees him in the neck as Salza lands a huge blow to his chest. Vegeta is down.

“Vegeta!” Goku shouts.

Suddenly, Neiz catches him in his binding wave, shocking Goku with high amounts of voltage, rendering him numb. Piccolo charges up his special beam cannon and fires it towards Neiz’s head, catching him off guard. Salza looks shocked as Piccolo feels he’s finally got one of them.

“That was a close one.”

Piccolo’s face fills with shock as he sees Neiz extends his head back out of his body much like a turtle does, having quickly placed it inside of him. He looks back at the Namekian and grins menacingly. Right then, NightHollow elbows Piccolo directly on the top of his skull, rendering him unable to get off the ground. All three Z-Fighters down beside each other unable to stand from being brutally beaten. Vegeta tries to get up and flips over to see all three Armored Squadron above them in the air. All three fire a combination of many energy waves fired at a very rapid rate straight at them. Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo have been defeated.

“That wasn’t bad of a warm-up” Salza comments.

“Hey guys” Dore shouts, “maybe a little help here, huh?”

They look to see Dore shielding himself using an energy shield emitting from his wrist gauntlet as Broly continuously punches at him. Each punch pushes Dore an inch into the ground as he uses all his strength to resist. Instantly, Salza and Neiz arrive to strike Broly on both sides of his abdomen, distracting him long enough for NightHollow to go for his legs and Dore to charge up a shoulder charge to knock Broly off of his feet. Before Broly can react, all four punch him straight towards where Goku and the others are still down on the ground.

“He’s a tough one.”

“Let’s finish this shall we?” Salza implies.

The four channel their ki together combining into a massive energy bomb in the sky. Goku manages to get enough strength to stand as the others come to as well, bearing witness what’s expanding right above them.

“I’ll have to agree to that statement now. They are no joke” Vegeta says.

As the energy ball continues to expand, the Z-Fighters regroup trying to quickly recover. The Armored Squadron unleash the bomb straight at them and the Z-Fighters don’t have enough time to react. Nothing but a dark grey smog is left below as the Armored Squadron believe themselves to be victorious.

“That should’ve done it. Good riddance to those Saiyans, I don’t think Cooler has anything to worry about” Dore says.

Suddenly, their scouters activate, finding power levels increasing at the very spot they just blew up.

“What? How?!”

As the dust clears, they see Goku, Vegeta, Broly have all powered up into their super saiyan forms. Goku and Vegeta have gone Super Saiyan 2 as Broly’s size and muscle increased exponentially. Piccolo’s power has changed as well with his eyes turning blue and his aura has become pure sky blue. Goku and Vegeta sense the extensive energy emitting from him.

“How long have you been hiding that state form us Piccolo?” Goku asks.

“Not long after the tournament. I don’t meditate for nothing you know” he responds.

“It’s like a godly energy.”

“I haven’t used this form much yet, but there’s a lot I’ve been studying from ancient Namekian texts from New Namek. I’ll show you sometime later. Right now we have these guys to handle.”

The four prepare to fight once more unexpected to the Armored Squadron.

“I’m done with this warm-up, let’s get on with the real fight!” Vegeta shouts.

The four charge at the Armored Squadron who were not ready for so much power thrown right at them so quickly. Vegeta and NightHollow clash once again and separate from the rest as Vegeta now has the upper hand. Unleashing a barrage of punches at NightHollow, Vegeta catches an opening, sending him flying across the park. NightHollow recovers easily and takes into consideration the power he just witnessed.

“Not bad. Might have to readjust my strategy.”

He looks up to find Vegeta already there, charging at him, and manages to dodge quickly away. Vegeta fires several ki blast that NightHollow deflects before catching an unexpected Galick Gun and sends it into the air. Vegeta takes no time to wait and is already about to kick him in the head when NightHollow grabs it midair and sends him flying back. The two stand face to face as Vegeta is not messing around ready to to attack once more. NightHollow gets into a fighting stance familiar to Vegeta and he does the same. The two clash once more and NightHollow is fighting far more differently than before and is on par with Vegeta’s strikes. One punch and kick after the other and the two exchange blows that causes the ground to shake beneath them. NightHollow sends a volley of energy blasts that Vegeta uses the trees around him to dodge before deciding to take things up a notch as a red aura engulfs him and his hair changes from blonde to red. Vegeta has went Super Saiyan God.

NightHollow keeps his composure as his hands subtly shake. It’s not fear but the adrenaline he hasn’t felt is a long time flowing through him. Vegeta makes the first move and is faster than before, catching NightHollow off guard. Each punch thrown is composed and dealt with the intention of knocking his opponent down for the count. Vegeta manages to crack his helmet as he sends him into a tree. NightHollow catches his breath and for once is on his knees as Vegeta channels a Big Bang Attack directly at him as a final blow. With every inch left of energy in his body, NightHollow manages to dodge the attack just in time, damaging his helmet in the process. As it begins to haywire and his display inside begins to glitch, he decides to remove his helmet.

Vegeta stands there watching it all happen as his eyes widen with shock, recognizing the person standing several feet away from him. NightHollow looks to face him revealing himself with black, spiky hair that stands tall with a single bang hanging down onto his face. Humanlike in nature, he resembles Vegeta is a way.

“How is this possible?” Vegeta says to himself in shock, “Tarble?”

Tarble looks at Vegeta sternly not to fond to see his older brother and catches Vegeta off guard with a ki blast before fleeing, leaving Vegeta to fall to his knees trying to wrap around the sudden reveal of events.

Meanwhile, Neiz tries to fight Broly who unleashing all hell upon him until Tarble arrives to save him. Dore manages to get Piccolo into his signature bear hug and crushes him before dropping him on the ground. Goku and Salza continue to clash and they seem evenly matched at the moment. It’s clearly seen Salza is getting exhausted while Goku is pumped up for me. As he goes to strike Salza with another blow, a death beam hits him right in the back and he falls towards the ground once again. Salza looks above him to find none other than Cooler himself.

“My lord.”

“I’ll take it from here Salza. Have you and the Squadron pull back.”

Goku is on the ground trying to pick himself up from the beam attack, but Cooler presses his foot down on him applying more pressure to the pain.

“AHHHHHHHH!”

Cooler twists his foot a few times into Goku’s back making him suffer from the intensive pain.

“It is an honor to finally meet you Goku. Unfortunately, I’m not here to do meet and greets. You’ve seen the might of my Armored Squadron and now imagine when I unleash my entire force to lay waste to this planet you call home.”

He continues to apply pressure deep into Goku’s back making him scream. Broly, Piccolo and Vegeta are all left to watch as their friend is given excruciating pain.

“I intend to leave this place as nothing more than space dust with all of you and your friend’s ashes floating in the vacuum of space.”

Cooler grips Goku up with his tail and tightens it around his neck.

“But first I’m make you watch personally as everything around you dies. I promise I’ll make your death painless in the end.”

Suddenly, a ki blast hits Cooler, loosening his grip on Goku, and he turns to find Gohan, recovered, nearby. Cooler is not impressed and prepares to fire back, but Goku easily vanishes grabbing Broly, Piccolo, Vegeta and Gohan as he instant transmissions away from the fight.

“Hmm. Now I can see why Frieza underestimated this one” Cooler says to himself.

The Armored Squadron reconvene around him as Cooler stares at the spot where he last saw them before Goku instant transmissioned.

“You think they’ll be back?” Dore asks.

“Of coarse they will. We’ll make them. I know they're not far, so have our forces cause as much chaos as possible” Cooler responds.

Tarble stands beside Cooler as they witness his command ship sets itself above the Earth’s atmosphere, closing in. It detaches a long metal drill that pierces the planet’s crust and dig inside while large tentacles begin to spread around the ozone layer around West City. Cooler watches.

“I’m going back inside to make sure the Big Gete Star is prepared. We’ll draw them out and make this their grave.”
