Void: *I pick myself up and brush myself off, glancing around embarrassingly hoping no one saw that. I walk closer to the enormous doors, brushing a section off. Pieces crumble away under my hand. I see vines struggling their way up the sides and elaborate golden scrollwork dancing across the deck. Smiling, I pull out a chisel and lever it under the gold.*
HellByrd: *I watched from afar and facepalm when you fell.* ‘This kid’s gonna get himself killed.’ *I thought to myself*
Void: *having amassed a significant amount of gold from the doors, I then turn my attention to opening them. I look at them for a while, planning the best way in. Then, spotting a hole at the bottom where it has decayed severely, I go down to my knees and gently pull until I have created a hole large enough for me to fit into. I crawl inside*
HellByrd: *I don’t usually let my herd wander this far but I was curious about those doors myself. I get closer but still maintain my distance, waiting to see what you’ll do.*
Void: *Once inside, I straighten up. This place seems long abandoned, due to the copious amount of dust layered over everything. I kitten sneeze. Dust motes swirl up into the beams of sunlight poking through pinholes in the ceiling. I look around and I am amazed at the intricate carvings decorating the walls. I hesitantly step around a beam of light and move closer to the wall. Once there, I begin to examine the carvings. I see humans, holding up what looks like food and baskets. I begin to think of Zov's cooking.*
*Above them is a massive throne made of....bones? I don't look too much at that. Seated on the throne is a being lost to time. I cannot make out anything. Someone appears to have scratched them off. I follow the carvings to the right, not seeing the bloody imprint above the throne.*
HellByrd: *I descended from my perch and followed you inside.*
“Miss me?” *I smirked as I suddenly came to stand right next to you spooking you a bit.*
Void: *I smile and lean in closer to you. I seductively smirk.*
HellByrd: *I stared at the throne for a moment and started to climb the stairs up* “I’ve never been here before. You think he’d be mad if I took a picture?”
Void: *I shake my head helplessly before following you up the stairs. I admire the view from behind as we climb the stairs.*
HellByrd: *I got to the throne and took a good look at the thing on the seat.* “What do you think it is?”
Void: *I approach it from an angle, coming out from behind you and creeping closer to the throne. I approach the dais and step up.*
*With my back to you, I miss your look of warning.*
HellByrd: *I watched in horror as something not quite there but with an obvious shadow flung you to the side wall.* “Oh shit...”
Void: *I wince as I feel something crack inside me.*
*Meanwhile, back at the Town...…*
Malo: *At hearing Zovak speak one of the beast's large drooping ears twitched, causing it to slowly wake up again. However no sooner had it begun to open its eyes before it's head was suddenly being shoved back into the ground, and for a moment it was still. It then carefully pulled its head back out, staring at Zovak behind a layer of dirt and rubble. It's eyes then narrowed in irritation, before suddenly whipping its head around and smashing Zovak in the side with its horns, sending him flying into the air. With that done it got back to its feet, shaking the dirt off itself once again before continuing its slow trudge towards town.*
Zovak: *looks as the beast wakes up* Ah shit... *gets the wind knocked out of him a second time and flies 20 feet into a tree*
*coughing Zov looks up and sees Malo stumble into town* He’s awake now.
*gets up and yells at the sloth beast* HEY! Change forms before u get to town not enough space for that form!
Malo: *Once in town the beast began to sniff around. It could tell there were sins living here, sins like it, so it was home. However, it could also smell humans, survivors, and this put its basic sin instincts on edge. A tired and lazy edge, but an edge none the less.*
