Part 1 Life
Chapter 1 Misfit
Ari, 08:15, May 19, 3048, Saturday
Oh, It’s morning already.
L: - G’morning!
A: - …
L: - Hey, did I wake you up?
A: - Sup
L: - Can you walk Roku tomorrow?
A: - Sure
L: - Come for breakfast too
A: - Ok
L: - Sweet dreams, sleepyhead. See yea
Grrr. As if I have chance falling back asleep.
Another early bird.
Erin: “How about coffee? Will be near your place in hour or so”
Ari: “Ok”
Erin: “WOW. I’ve got lucky. Hehe”
Erin: “My big thanks to whoever woke you up! xD”
Ari: “Message Lisa”
Ari: “Ocean spot cafe : location sent”
Erin: “See you there”
I never thought it would get this annoying before death. Most of the people have multiplied their attention. I never do that, it’s awkward and yet so freaking common!
Yeah, I’m checking death dates regularly too, but so I know, not so I can rush for the last chat.
What the point?
I don’t understand why many people are taking the last month off and rushing for pleasures or for endless chatters or for the last-minute changes in one’s life. Jeez, it’s so stupid. We all know our and each other death dates, so why can’t people live their life fully and without regrets?
I always was told ‘You’ll understand once you have one month left’.
Here I'am.
One month left.
Nope, still no enlightening.
I wish they didn’t know and my last month can flow casually.
Hehe, I guess, it cannot be helped. Thanks, From, your name at least made me smile. Not reading it till Monday, tho.
…
Wind.
Wind is mixing the ocean with blossoms.
It’s good I decided to walk.
Wind probably the only thing I’ll miss, if there could be such thing as missing after death. I love how it play with my hair and its touch, and all the aroma it’s bringing.
…
A: - Here! Hi, Erin.
E: - Morning, Ari.
A: - Nice hair.
E: - Thanks, that’s the reason I came here so early. Tell me.
A: - What?
E: - Your special plans for the last month, of course.
A: - … em …
E: - I’m so excited to hear.
A: - Heh, sorry, I don’t have any.
E: - ???...
A: - I really don’t…
E: - Aha! You…
A: - Stop right there. There are no secret plans too.
E: - Do you have trouble deciding, then?
A: - No.
E: - What will you do ?
A: - I’ll keep my routine, continue my machine learning course and take an exam a week before death. That’s it.
E: - Whaaaat? You are taking a course right before your death, why bother?
A: - ...
How unpleasant. Why each and every conversation are the same recently? The same thing over and over. Should I actually go somewhere secluded? If there is no other way to keep my lifestyle during this month, because everyone...
E: - Ari, are you ok?
E: - Ari!
A: - Oh, sorry, did you say something?
E: - You spacing out. Are you ok? Did.. did I ofend you?
A: - No. I think, I’m just getting tired of this topic. It sort of the same with everyone. In short, I leave in a way I want, so there is nothing much I can think of changing at the last moment. Even if I die here and now – it would be fine with me.
E: - That’s… That’s unusual, but interesting point of view.
Whatever.
Wind is mixing coffee with the ocean nicely.
Wind.
