"Liam!" Eli's voice was wavering from his previous scream. He immediately scrambled to his hooves as quickly as he could.

"Oooooh~ Looks like the wolf finally came back for what's his~?" Oliver cooed as he stared into the shadows. "What're you gonna do, Liam~?"

The growls grew louder until Liam launched himself from the shadows in a flurry of golden fur, aiming to slam Oliver to the ground.

To Eli's horror Oliver dodged out of the way with unmatched speed and grace, digging his claws into Liam's face as he flew past.

Blood splattered across Oliver's face as his claws ripped through Liam's cheek up to his temple. They ripped through Liam's left eyelid like it was tissue paper, making the wolf's vision go foggy with red.

"One would think the future leader of a pack would be wiser than this… but," Oliver licked some of Liam's blood from his fingers and flung the rest at Eli "It seems you're still just an immature child."

"SHUT UP!" Liam snarled through clenched teeth, glaring threateningly at Oliver with his one working eye as blood trickled down to his chin and neck.

"Oooooo~ Did I strike a nerve? Hehe.." His laughter was smooth in such a creepy way that it made Eli's skin crawl.

"O-Oliver..." Eli yelped slightly when Oliver's head snapped in his direction, looking down on his with a necrotic aura hanging around his eyes. "Do you… what do you…" He swallowed and forced his fears away, walking over and stepping in front of Liam, who was crouching gripping his bleeding face. "What do you want from us…"

Oliver's grin widened freakishly. He leaned forward till he was almost touching Eli "I'm 'so' glad you asked~"

He gingerly grasped Eli's chin and waist, ignoring the deep growls from Liam. "There's so many things I want… mostly entertainment…. You see," He licked his lips slowly and whispered into Eli's ear "I like to play with prey like you two…"

Oliver moved swiftly, dodging simply out of the way as Liam ducked around Eli and threw himself at Oliver again.

Liam crashed into the ground, roots and rocks tearing at the flesh of his shoulder yet he still immediately tried to get to his feet, just to feel something pull his head back. His hair was caught on something.

"To think the future leader is stuck helpless like this…" Oliver cackled and grabbed Eli by the arm. "Nothing to do to help the one he supposedly loves!"

When Liam tugged harder against whatever was holding him back Eli pulled against Oliver to try and get closer. "I'm okay! Stop listening to him, Liam! I'm- AGH!" Teeth sank into Eli's neck violently, directly over the scar Liam had left to mark Eli as his own. Eli could feel as the teeth hit his bone, his own shrill screams filling the air.

His vision started to go dark as his weight leaned back into Oliver's body. There was the distinct sound of something tearing and he felt a throbbing sensation in his head mixed with a churning in his gut.

He could hear shouting and growling and the smell of burning flesh filled the air, hands gripped him vigorously before he slipped out of consciousness.
