Lee has never liked going to the doctors, for obvious reasons.

Shots duh!

Lee is always hard to give shots to because he refuses to look away when the needle is inserted in his arm, which makes things even worse. Plus it is hard to distract someone from a needle if he will not stop looking right at it.

One time Lee was trying to prevent getting a shot by not lifting up his shirt sleeve. That failed to work because the doctor just stuck his needle through his shirt. Boy, I wish I could have seen his face. Mom said he looked truly shocked, like he could not believe what had just happened.
