Raindrops falling loudly on the huge window paves. Thomas rolled around restlessly in his doll bed. The bed was uncomfortable, but Thomas wasn't used to any better. Yet somehow he could not catch sleep. He sat up and walked to the other side of the large cabinet. From there he was able to look out of the window. The giant raindrops glide down the glass. It felt more like a waterfall than a window pave. Thomas turned around to look at his companions. Each of them sound asleep. Looking out of the window one more time, he sighed and turned back to his bed. He closed his eyes one last desperate time, he could feel the fatigue. The journey down, taking in his wings and horns, the large impressions of this bizarre world, all took its toll on the old demon. After 60 years of solitude and own routine in Hell, this was a lot to take in. Again he thought about the task they were given. He still couldn't comprehend. How did the others decide to go? And how did they fall asleep so easily? 
With that thought, somehow, sleep, finally, caught up to him.
