Everyone else comes back in a few minutes later holding bags in their hands. "We mugged the food carrier." DaeDae grins. "He didn’t stand a chance."
"Sometimes I worry about you." Sunshine looks him over. "You say the weirdest things. When we get back home we're cutting off your internet life."
I watch the youngest member's face fall in devastation. "Why?"
"It's the games he's been playing."
"You can talk about my language and you can make fun of my clothes, but not the games." DaeDae growls. "Those are my precious."
I pat the space next to me. "Come on, Gollum, come eat."
Everyone begins opening the containers, digging in. I break apart the wooden chopsticks and start shoving chicken into my mouth..
Hajoon groans. "It's not exactly like home, but it's close." Hajoon enjoys food. Sometimes I feel like he loves it more than he likes us. Grabbing some more from different containers, I pile it onto a plate and wade my way through the others to Dragon.
"D." I whisper before shaking him awake. He grumbles and slaps my hand. "Come on. Up."
His eyes blink open and he glares at me for waking him. I hold the plate out and I can see the tension leave his face. He chokes out a thank you before sitting up. I lay the plate on his lap and leave him to eat. With Dragon being the second oldest, it was only natural for me to take care of him.
"I'm going to head out."
"Night." They call out as I leave the room. I bump into someone.
A tiny Asian girl bows before glancing behind me. Shifting the cleaning cart away from me, she looks me in my eyes. "I'm sorry." She responds in my language.
I wave my hands. "It wasn't your fault. Are you Korean?"
When she nods, I feel slightly at ease. "I see." Her name tag reads Mary and her hair is tied up in the back.
She motions to the cart. "I'll be your cleaner for the rest of your stay. If you need anything, don't hesitate to call."
"Of course. Thank you." Giving her a slight head nod, I move towards my room. Now that my stomach was full and the day was finally setting, I could feel exhaustion hitting me hard. Collapsing onto my bed, I close my eyes, sighing. Maybe I should change clothes before bed. Someone knocking on the door wakes me up. When did I fall asleep!? Rubbing the sleep out of my eyes, I make my way over.
"I'm coming" I growl as I open the door. Jun stands there, clutching a pillow to his chest, tears in his eyes as he lifts his head to look at me.
I don't say a word as I open the door wider to let him in. He quietly shuffles into my room and stands at the edge of my bed.
"Come on." Crawling back into bed, I lift the blanket.
Jun sniffles before he rubs his face. "I'm not doing this because I want to share a room with you." His deep sleepy voice doesn't match the innocent young face. "I had a nightmare." But he doesn't waste time climbing in beside me still clutching his pillow.
"I know." I whisper. Draping the covers over us, I close my eyes and bury my head back into my pillow.
"Kang?" I make a noise as I can feel myself going back under. "Thank you."
That's what brothers do. We help each other.

I wake up the next morning with my head smothered into a chest and my body constricted by arms and legs. I lift my head and scowl at Jun. I push him away and sit up. What time is it? Glancing at the clock, my eyes widen.
"It's only nine?”
I'm usually one of the few who gets up late and joins the others who are in the training room. If I was up before the sun, it usually meant something was wrong.
"Are you awake?" Jun asks in a sleepy tone. He stretches his arms and legs out before giving me a tiny innocent grin. "Did I do it again?"
I nod. "I nearly died."
"I'm sorry." He kneels before rubbing his hands together in apology. "I don't mean to."
Leaning over, I ruffle his hair. "I know."
Someone bangs on my door, I get up to answer it. Jay's jaw is clenched in anger. "Have you seen my lucky shirt?"
"No."
"I had it laying out on the bed and when I came back from my shower, it was gone. No one has seen it."
Jay loves that shirt. "Maybe we can find it. Have you checked under the bed?"
He nods. "How am I going to perform if I can't wear that shirt?"
"Let's not freak out." Jun speaks behind me. "We can search for it."
"Maybe the cleaning lady knows." Mary, wasn't it?
I can hear the wheels creaking as a cleaning lady pushes her cart down the hallway. I push past Jay and quickly flag her down. She pauses her cart and gives me a smile.
"How can I help you?" Her tag reads Mary and I frown. How many Mary's are there?
"I'm looking for the other Mary who cleans our room."
Her face scrunches up in confusion. "But I'm the only one who cleans the rooms on this floor. Is there something I can help you with?"
I immediately call Taejin. "No. I know what is going on." My voice takes on a darker tone and I begin to tell him everything. Taejin curses loudly before I can hear him running downstairs.
Back home we had fans who would do the wildest things to get close to us. A part of me wants to go out and find her myself, but I can't. Taejin had threatened our lives if we ever went after a stalker fan. The others start coming out of their rooms.
"What happened?" The real Mary asks.
"Someone impersonated you." Jay moves to my left. "She stole our things."
The woman gasps in horror. "Oh no! We should call the police."
Jay smiles coldly. "She's going to be captured. We let our manager know." He fills the others in and we all make our way downstairs to the front lobby. Taejin is talking quickly to security, his face a mask of indifference.
I can see Angelica apologizing profusely.
“I’m sorry, boys, but I don’t think this is the right time for you to go exploring. It’s not safe for you.” Taejin sighs.
“But.” Jun sputters.
Taejin shakes his head. “It’s only to the concert and back. That's it. Go back to your rooms while I finish this up.”
Jay ushers us back onto the elevator.
‘This is bullshit.” Sunshine growls.
“I agree with Taejin. Our safety comes first.” Hajoon replies from behind us. We turn to look at him.
“Hajoon.” Dae whines.
“Let’s focus on performing well for the concert.” The doors to the elevator open. “Then when we get a moment, let’s sneak away.”
Everyone’s eyes widen. Sneak away? Mischievous grins spread across our faces. That was our eldest, always doing whatever he wants to do. As I enter my room, I can feel my heart sinking. It's hard for us to become close to people. To some, we are gods in their eyes. To others, we're just cash cows that they can use for a quick income. It's why my band members decided that it's best not to get involved with people in general. What kind of lonely life is that though? Is there someone out there who wouldn't see me as an idol? Could they honestly see me as Lee Kangsu, a regular guy from Korea.
