Lee always takes the smallest bites possible when he is given something he does not want to eat. If he takes a bigger bite and suddenly after chewing it changes his mind he will spit it out into his hand and gives it to my Mom. He usually does this in the car while she is driving so she will have no choice but to take it and throw it out the window. Sometimes he tries to be helpful and throw it out her window himself. He doesn’t give her a lot of notice when he is going to do this. There have been some pretty close calls!

Dad (always thrifty) would keep every scrap of food Lee did not put in his mouth to feed to someone else. Guess who that someone one else would be? Me. My Dad would try lying to me saying he had just gotten it at the store but I was no fool and neither was Lee. Dad tried doing the same thing to Lee, but he would not touch that reheated cheese pizza.
