Zovak: *chuckles as the beast falls asleep and slowly closes the bar doors*
*thinks aloud in a hushed tone* I wonder if there is a alchemist around here...? Hmm, I should run over to the church. One of the survivors might know.
*Zov begins to walk back up to the dinner but realizes he forgot to lock up the dinner before he left so he went to go check his coolers.*
*The church building is old and in disrepair. The building's main doors are rotted, and one hangs half way of its hinges. A strangely dressed human wearing a floppy, wide brim, white hat on her head ascends the stairs to the door. She speaks, seemingly to nobody as she stops to push one of the doors open.*
Stranger: Home sweet home, eh Shadow?
*Tilts her head and occasionally nods as if she listening to someone as she enters and explores the building. Just beyond the main door is the main room of the building. A central aisle running between rows of rotting and decaying wooden pews to a huge raised dais in the center of the building. The dais was made out of large dark grey stone blocks. On top it was an altar, carved out of a much bigger block then ones making up the dais, but it was clear it was of the same material. A set of stairs were rough-hewn into the stones of the dais as if they had been put there by someone else long after the dais had been built. They lead up to the top of the dais from the central aisle, delivering anyone who climbed them right to the foot of the altar.*Zovak: *emerges out of the cooler after checking the stock* I’m actually surprised gluttony hasn’t come in yet. *exits the dinner flipping the sign to closed and locks the door off to the church*
*The church looked run down but it was across the street but a few survivors head in there now and then.*
*looks up and sees a figure move by a window.* Looks like someone’s home.
*Meanwhile, back with the scrappers.....*HellByrd: “At least it’s dead” *I muttered as I got out my sting of razor wire and started cutting its legs, arms and head. Having gotten rid of the extra weight I kicked it off you.* “You alive there buddy?”
Void: *I give a shaky thumbs-up, before reaching up to wipe some of the blood off my face. I only succeed in smearing it around more. I pout adorably.*
HellByrd: *I chuckled and handed you my jacket to clean up and went to get my bat back.* “You still wanna go back in and see what we can scavenge? Or have you had enough adventure?”
Void: *I look at you strangely before taking the jacket. After using it to wipe off most of the blood, minus a few spots here and there, I shrug into it. It is slightly too big, but I seem happy. I point back at the building and wince in pain. I root around in my satchel before pulling out a bandage and begin to tightly wrap it around my ribs while wincing in pain. I start to see black at the edge of my vision and stop, resting my hands on my knees.*
HellByrd: *I looked you over and decided that adventuring was no longer on the table.* “Alright were making a detour, the others can handle themselves. We’re going to get you straightened up.”
Void: *I pout. I really, REALLY wanted to go back into the building. Taking advantage of your distraction, I start sneaking towards the building. I reach the broken doors and I am in the process of slipping back inside*
HellByrd: “Oh no you don’t.” *I turned you around in the direction of the town.*
Void: *I resign myself to this unwanted direction and placidly walk beside you back to town*
HellByrd: *I smiled as I slowly lead us back into a dingy looking part of town, the most noticeable thing being the broken church.*
Void: *I look at the church, but my vision starts blurring. I clutch your shoulder tightly in an attempt to not fall down.*
