Outside of the dojo grounds, Kane is picking cherry blossom pedals from a tree. Kashimba runs into her, watching her place the blossoms in a black vial.

"Oh, hello. What brings you here Kashimba?" She asks politley.

"I have a question..." Kashimba tells her as her eyes softly glow a radiant red.

"All right, lets sit." Kane and Kashimba sit down near the lake, as it sparkles in the moonlight.

"What are you really? You don't seem human." Kashimba asks.

"Believe it or not, I am very much human. However I was conceived by a witch and a Ninja." Kane replies while watching the water sparkle from the light of the moon and stars.

"My father and mother were Samurai's, they were the most deadly warriors in all of Japan. My father was killed when I was just a baby." Kashimba informs Kane.

"Papa Tengu told me, I believe your mother taught you the way of the sword?" Kashimba brows her afro and she looks at her left hand as a cherry blossom falls into her palm.

"Yes. After she was killed, I was saved by Papa Tengu, he further taught me the Bushido code of both Samurai and Ninja. I was pressured by Papa Tengu to see the world and learn different styles of fighting from many masters." Kane looks at the moon and it's light hits her green eyes, making them glow.

"I guess in a way, we are exactly the same way. Both of my parents were killed by the same vampire that killed your mother." Kane reveals. Kashimba turns to her, taken off guard by the revelation.

"How did you become... what you are now?" Kashimba wonders.

"I was living in the forest, just surviving on my wits. It wasn't before long until Papa Tengu found me and taught me everything I know, from fighting techniques to various spells." Kane says.

"Well, well, well... ain't this a lovely sight. You and Citizen Kane here bonding. I think we may become great friends." Raidou jumps from a tree, with a honey butter biscuit in his right hand.

"We were just having a conversation Raidou, before you interrupted us." Kane says.

"Hold up, you guys relax! I'm just out here enjoying the moonlight, which is bananas by the way, shoot!" Raidou exclaims.

"I took a little look at your new weapons while you were here with Kane, looks like you have some new toys to play with!" Raidou says.

"I'll be testing them soon enough, I'm going to find the vampire that tranqued me and I'll show him the meaning of pain." Kashimba says, as she stares at the moon with her glowing red eyes.

Two hours later, Kane sits in deep meditation, surrounded by the cherry blossom pedals that she picked. As she meditates, the cherry blossoms turn to ash and they form the appirition of a woman with a child in her arms.

"Mother... I will get revenge for your death. I will not rest or die until I kill every one of them. Monsters... Beasts... I just call them prey!" The ashes fall to the floor as Kane gets to her feet.

Looking out her window, she sees Kashimba in the courtyard praticing Tai Chi. Kane heads down there to get a closer look. As she watches, Kashimba holds her pose and opens her eyes as they glow red.

"You have quiet feet Kane, I am impressed by that. If I wasn't a half breed, I would be clueless towards you standing there." Kashimba says still having her feet placed apart from each other.

"Your Tai Chi is unique, you have a sense of rhythm unlike most practitioners." Kashimba smiles upon hearing Kane's compliments.

"Kashimba, I wish to spar with you if that's okay. I want to see if the what they say about you is true." Kane tells her. Kashimba slowly walks up to her and she invites her to attack. Kane tries to throw a left punch, but it is blocked by Kashimba. The two begin parrying each others blows, before stopping as Kashimba dodges a roundhouse kick by Kane.

Kane smiles as she checks a swift leg kick from Kashimba, impressing the vampire hunter. The two once again trade attacks, countering each others moves. Kane then throws a staggering right punch that knocks Kashimba down to the ground.

"Are you all right Kashimba?" Kane asks as she sees Kashimba spit out blood. Kashimba's eyes glow scarlet red and she lunges at Kane. Pinning her to the ground, she begins to rain down heavy punches on Kane.

Kane puts up a magical shield in the shape of a diamond, guarding herself from the punches of Kashimba. Kashimba shatters the shield after five strikes and she begins to choke Kane by her neck.

"K... Kashimba... snap out of it!" Kane struggles, Kashimba's eyes stop glowing and she let's Kane go. As both women take heavy breaths, Kashimba has a fearful look on her face. Kane tries to place her hand on Kashimba's shoulder, but Kashimba jerks away from her.

"Don't touch me!"She shrieks. Kane looks on, fully understanding of what Kashimba is struggling with.

"Kashimba, it's okay. That wasn't you, we can help you get it under control!" She tells her.

"No one can help me... I'm just as cursed as the rest of these monsters! Bound by the thirst with no way out. I'm damned for all time!" Kashimba walks away, leaving Kane alone as the moon shined in the sky.
