"Maybe they took her too..." Hari scratched his head, reading the look in his best friend's sad eyes. "She's sixteen already."
"We'll keep looking..." Arden resolved. "I'm sure we'll find many other stranded younglings too."
"I never believed those tales Grandma used to say about the raiders taking away people who were of age." Hari said tearfully. "But it seems to be true."
"Well, it never happened to us... until now." Arden replied, holding back the tears that welled in his eyes. "And they took everyone... every one of age."
"No, not everyone!" A soft voice with a tremble in it made the boys whirl around.
