Chapter 10

Jade powered up the beast they had set up for him and stared in both awe and horror.

He looked over to the side where the men from before seemed to be discussing something.

Jade looked back at the monster and hesitantly launched the game, logging into his character.

Ryuu gently squeezed his waist with his tail, noticing his masters discomfort.

Jade was glad the dragon was invisible so he could have his support.

He would have probably had a panic attack if he had to leave him outside or something.

Especially since the King or whoever it was was capable of tracking him if he didn't have Ryuu cloaking him.

“Yeah King Vince is looking for the new Prince, its very interesting.”

Jade’s head tilted towards the two men as they spoke.

Vince? Jade thought hesitantly.

“What was the Prince’s name? Did you hear it?” The man sitting down asked.

“Ah no I did not…..” The other man sighed.

“So what's going to happen once he finds the Prince?”

He could hear the man standing up snort in amusement.

“Hopefully a wedding.”

A WEDDING? Jade mentally shrieked.

His character loaded on screen and he blinked at it.

He grabbed the mouse and moved his character around absentmindedly.

A wedding? Why? What are they even talking about? Jade thought in utter confusion.

Jade decided to join a dungeon with some random people to practice on the new equipment.

It did not take him long to get used to it.

He healed the people around him on screen as he tried his best not to think to deeply about what the other men had said.

A wedding……….

Why?

Maybe they had said something else it wasn't like Jade was 100% on every word in Kingstongue

Jade tapped away on the keyboard and tried to continue to focus on his task of healing and getting used to the new computer.

Why had the King even given him the title of Prince?

He could understand having people looking for him but not…….rewarding him? Basically?

He really needed to know what was even going on, but he had to many other things to think about.

He wanted to try and win the competition for his guildmates.

That was more important than thinking about some random King he never had even seen before.

Well….unless said king tried to kill him in the future.

Jade winced.
