Angela Castellanos had moved house once again.
If she calculated correctly, this would make it the tenth time this year that they have packed up and moved, making it the tenth time she made friends and had to throw them all away.
She despised moving.
And she despised her parents even more.
She despised her parents for lying to her.
Them saying they always moved for work, whatever work that was.
She knew what it really was.
Every new city and house was just another attempt to get rid of her.
They would never admit it though.
How much they despised her back.
How much they wished to tell her she was a mistake.
But my, how well they hid it.
So without a say in anything, Angela sat in the back of the sorry excuse of a car, squished in between all of her mothers things, looking out on the boring landscape of Arizona, her parents in the front seats ignoring each other.
