EXE run through the streets and immediately ran past a police man who was drinking his coffee, he spits his drink out and looked down at his speedometer which in bright words read '765' he almost spits out his coffee and set it back into the cup holder. He turned on the sirens and chased after EXE, EXE's ears perked up and he glanced back when he saw the police he cursed under his breath. "Shit..." he mumbled under his breath and sped up. The police man grabbed his walkie talkie. "I have a runner here! I need backup now! Bring in the race cars!" He tossed the walkie talkie aside and pushed on the petal.

Somewhere else in this strange place, a group of racer walked out of a door with their helmets to their sides. One of them got in the race car and turned on the GPS which showed a blue dot running extremely fast across the mini map. "This guy's a fast one but not as fast as me!" and with that him and his crew pulled out of the garage and towards to EXE location.

EXE was growing tired of the speed chase and tried to duke him out but that made him run into the race car crew, he could see the leader smirk through the window. "So it's like that huh? Well then...have at it." He turned around and front flipped over the other cop that was chasing him early and sped off again. The cop car halted and the team chased after EXE while the cop just tried to calm down his panic.

EXE glanced around frantically for somewhere to hide, but his thoughts were broken when the main guy sped up next to him. He rolled down the window and looked over at him which EXE returned, his eyes widen when he saw that EXE was a hedgehog and not human. EXE gave him a smirk and said. "I love to stay and chat but I got more important stuff to do so...bye!" And before the racer said anything else EXE immediately outran them with a boom. He stopped the car which made the others stop too. He was confused as heck. 'What is that?'

EXE slowed down his running and sat down near a fence to catch his breath, it's been years since he ran, mostly because he rather fly that walk or run and he was kind of happy that he started to run. The thrill of it makes him feel...alive. "Oh boy...That was fun..." He pants out before looking through a slit of the fence. On the other side of the fence was a very nice mansion with a pool in the back, EXE whistled a little and soon jumped over the fence but he landed in the deep end of the pool, he never swam in his whole life so you can obviously tell he was drowning.

In the mansion above, a teenager was sleeping in his bed until he was awoken by the sound of splashing. He sat up on his bed and soon walked downstairs and outside, when he saw the hedgehog splashing and then sinking he went to go save him. When he pulled the blue hedgehog out he gently rubbed his back while he coughed out some water. Once he was done coughing he looked up at the teenager and he was surprised. "Woah...your eyes...they are so cool! What's your name?" The blue hedgehog fixed his quills and responded. "Sonic.EXE, but you can call me EXE, thanks for saving me." 

The teenage boy smiled. "My name is Chris and it's no problem EXE, would you like to come inside and rest up?" EXE looked at the boy then at the sky. "Sure, but I must leave in the morning, I don't have much time." He said simply, Chris looked at him confused. "Huh? What do you mean by that?" EXE looked back at him and slowly shook his head, he can't just tell this kid about his friends and daughter being kidnapped. "Don't worry about it...you wouldn't understand."

Chris was gonna say something else but he decided not to, he held the demonic hedgehog up and took him back inside. They made their way upstairs and into his room. "You're gonna have to sleep in here, I don't want my grandfather and maid be scared when they see you." He said, EXE didn't answer and he climbed up somewhere so he can sleep. Chris climbed into bed and got comfortable. "Night." and with that he fell asleep, that night EXE couldn't sleep. The worry of what might of happen to the only person he cared so much about made him anxious, he closed his eyes and tried to tell himself that Crystal is fine and that his friends are fine too. It somehow worked and he fell asleep.  

But little did he know, there was someone watching him from a distance with a soft growl, the mysterious man soon went back in the shadows.
