HellByrd: “Aight I’ll see you back at the forge!” *I continue walking to the building I was working on during an old crap run. I’ve still got parts inside I can scavenge, and I have a work to catch up on.*

Void: *I boop Gil on the nose and dash away in the opposite direction of Byrd. I make my way to the building at the center of the town.*

HellByrd: “I thought you were having fun with your new friend?”

Void: *I shake my head.*

Malo: *Since both Byrd and Void had walked away the sloth slowly stepped forward, cautiously approaching the fire and sniffing at it, before sticking their hand in curiously. It surprisingly didn't catch fire, and they continued to search through the coals for anything interesting.*

Danman: *baffled*

Void: *I enter the building and start to scavenge. I find a set of stairs and walk up them quietly.*

HellByrd: *I start taking apart the tech in the work room, wires, mother board, anything I could find.*

Danman: *I make sure to search and scavenge in a different part of the scrapyard*

Void: *I find a bedroom at the top of the stairs and start looting the wardrobes. I pull out material after material, holding some up to myself before throwing it into my satchel. Having emptied the wardrobe, I turn my attention to the bathroom. I find copper pipes, which I start cutting into with a tool I pulled out of my bag.*

HellByrd: *I continued to scrap until I got all I could from that part of the building and moved onwards.*

Void: *Having taken all the copper pipes in the bathroom, my satchel is now almost full. I climb to the roof and sit on the low concrete wall, hanging my feet over the edge and feeling the breeze blowing through my hair*

HellByrd: *I made my way through the building eventually getting up on the roof* “Enjoying the view?”

Void: *I slowly smile. My eyes are closed, and I swing my feet gently.*

HellByrd: “Wanna see something cool?”

Void: *I slowly open my eyes and look up at you. I nod*

HellByrd: *Jumps off building*

Void: *My heart jumps to my chest and I reach frantically out to you*

HellByrd: *You missed me and watch as I came back up as a bleached clay crow* “oh god this is an alarming perspective!”

Void: *I jump backwards in alarm. Then I hesitantly reach a hand out to the crow*

HellByrd: *I landed on your hand, rather heavy for a clay Byrd* “Hey... you’re so much bigger like this... it’s weird.”

Void: *I make a face. I turn my hand around, looking at you from all sides. I slowly reach out my other hand as if to touch your feathers, and look at you for permission*

HellByrd: “Go ahead...”

Void: *I gently touch your feathers. They feel slightly cold, and smooth to the touch. I smile, and stroke your head*

HellByrd: *I tried not to directly look at you. It’s always unsettling when someone sees an unblinking crow statue’s looking at them.*

Meanwhile back in the town....

*Zovak had passed out after the fight with the beast. Still unconscious begins to moan in pain as he is hit with memories of his past before becoming a member of wrath and a zombie*
