As we’re standing around like total idiots, Green asks “Hey does everyone have their ammo because I have a fusion core short.” Everyone looks through their bags and notices too. “Hey I’ve lost a mag for my Assault Rifle!” Ryde answers. “Did anyone check the Fucking ammo crate before we left?” I questioned. Everyone looked down in embarrassment and went back to standing around like total idiots. The scilence was eventually cut short as groaning at the other end of the car. Green realizes what it is. “A GHOUL!” Trevor pulls out his revolver and fires upon what seems to be a living corpse. The mass stopped inching towards the 4 and dropped to the floor of the train car. “What the hell was that?” I asked “You don’t what that thing is?” Green replies. “Well we’ve only been unfrozen from cryo-stasis for only 2 weeks now and what’s a ghoul?” I reply “Well a ghoul is what that thing was. It’s what the Wasteland has been calling them all this time.” Green answers. We all pause for a moment. "The Wasteland?" Ryde Questions. "Yes, the Wasteland, it what remains from the past" Green responds. We all Stopped as our hearts skipped a beat, this is what had happened from when the announcement was made all that time ago, the nukes falling, this is what remained.
A stained air fills the cabin of the train car as we go back to doing our business as the tram pulls up to the station. We all get out and realise the situation we where in. But for we had to continue to find the Archives, in the end, we decieded to wander aimlessly around the sector in order to find the entrance. After what seemed hours to the same metal corridors entering our peripheral vision, we turn to find a massive, rusted, steel bulkhead. Trevor's eyes start to glisten as he realizes what it is and shouts “Hey guys, that’s it the hatch!” while pointing at the large door. Green walks up to the door and pulls the wheel on the door. The sound of rusted metal scraping on rusted metal fills the air as the door’s deadbolts unlock and swings open. We go through the door and find this long dark tunnel, so we start to walk through the tunnel. As time passes, we come across a massive door in the shape of a cog. Ryde notices a panel next to the door and walks up to it. He inserts his LVL 4 Keycard into the slot. The panel beeps and spits out the card. “Must be Level 5+.” Ryde questioned. “No shit.” Trevor replied. “Lemme try.” Green said as he walked up to the panel and pulled out a black Keycard. “Wait a moment, that’s a LVL 5 Keycard, where the fuck did you get that” I asked “Found on a corpse in the cafeteria.” Green inserts the card into the slot, there’s a brief moment of light buzzing until the panel pings and dispenses the keycard. An alarm blares and lights flicker as the weird shaped door slides open and moves to the side.
The 4 enters the archives. Ryde sweeps away the dust on a plaque and reads it aloud. “Vault-tec Nine-Cog Model Vault door, keeping you even safer!” Trevor replies with “Vault-tec, I’ve heard that before, they made a vault in Lycana… Vault 58 that’s it.” The 4 enter through a smaller door to find an underground warehouse filled with shelves with boxes. The group walk up to a large computer like machine where they’re greeted with a crackely synthetic voice “HELLO SCP FOUNDATION PERSONNEL, WOULD YOU LIKE TO…RETRIEVE A FILE…DIRECTIONS TO OTHER PARTS OF THE FACILITY…AND OR PERSONNEL DATA RECORDS?” I clear my throat and speak into a microphone mounted to the side of the Computer. “We would like to retrieve a file”. The Computer responds with brief static followed by the synthetic voice. “PLEASE STATE THE SCP FILE FROM…SCP-002 TO SCP-8999 OR SCAN A SCP LEVEL 6 OR HIGHER KEYCARD TO ACCESS RESTRICTED FILES.” I reply with “SCP-5827.” The machine hums and replies. “RETRIEVING SCP-5827 DATA FILE.” A whirring sound echos throughout the warehouse as a large forklift like robot starts to scuttle around the archives room, weaving inbetween shelves like a Russian Ballet until it stops by a shelf and retrieves a box with the label “SCP-5827” plastered on the side. We look into the box and to our surprise there was only a small folder that has “Data and info logs”. We blow the dust off the file and pull back on the tabs to open it up only to find a sheet of paper hiding within.
