~~Adrian’s POV~~

I didn’t know what to do. My mate was in my arms, crying. How was I supposed to help her? I couldn’t ask Dax to help her because her wolf wasn’t even present.

I just held her as tight as I could without hurting her. What did Marcus do to her?

“It’s okay. I’ll make sure you make them happy wherever they are in the afterlife.” I said on a calm voice. She stopped moving for a second which worried me but, the smile that spread across her face made me worry more. Did I get a bipolar mate?

“He’s back!” She yelled making me cringe slightly. She was dancing and spinning around in the pool.

What’s going on Dax?

I think Jake is back.

I froze for a moment. Her wolf was back? That’s great!

“Sunny?” I asked her as she stopped and looked deep in thought.

~~Sunny’s POV~~

I was literally crying like a baby in front of my supposed mate. God, I’m so weak!

You aren’t weak!

I heard someone say and for a moment I thought it was Adrian but, his mouth didn’t move.

Yeah you moron it was me!

Jake? Is that really you?

I stopped crying and breathing at the same time waiting for him to respond.

No, it’s the fucking tooth fairy! Yes, its me you idiot!

I was so happy I couldn’t control myself as I started jumping and shrieking in the water making it splash everywhere. I’m sure Adrian thought I was crazy with my mood switch but, I couldn’t help it!

I could feel that you were safe, and I can’t help but smell some fine ass werewolf near us all the time!
