After the vampire gala, everything went by as usual. The routines were as always. Classes in the morning, guardian duty in the afternoon until night. However, it was unusual when suddenly the Headmaster had something to announce. "What?! You want to make a new system whether the students can attend both day and night class???" Both Zero and Yuki asked at the same time, with different tones. "Mhm~ What do you guys think?" The headmaster had asked it innocently as it was not a big deal.

"What do we-..." Zero sighed. "I oppose it. The night class is filled with all those vampires. I know your dream is to unite vampires and humans together, but this is..." He sighed again as he was even unable to finish his answer. "I don't think it is a good idea either." Yuki joined in. "What? Even Yuki? I thought you'll be glad about this new system?" The headmaster was looking at Yuki with a sad look. "What? Why would you think so?" Yuki asked, and soon regretted it. "Well, since there's Kaname-ku-" His words were stopped as soon as Yuki slammed her hands on the table. "Th-that has nothing to do with it!" She quickly replied without even letting him finish it. Then he stole a glance at Zero who had no reaction to it. She just sighed, unsure whether to feel relieved or not.

"Anyway, I think this idea is too sudden. We can't suddenly throw the day class students to the night class or vice versa." Yuki then reasoned out continuing with her answer before. "Yes, of course, I know that. That is why I would like to do a trial and error first." The headmaster said pointing up his finger as his smile grew. "Trial and Error?" Zero and Yuki asked again. "Yes. So, there would be a week trial on whether this system could work or not." He answered.

"And how does this trial work?" Zero asked. "It's simple~ I will choose at least one student to be the guinea pig~" He nonchalantly said with an innocent face. "Huh? Wait, you can't just throw someone in there, Headmaster!" Yuki commented immediately. "Don't worry, don't worry. I've chosen someone with experience~" He said again gleefully. "Eh, don't tell me... It's one of us?" Yuki asked again sweat dropping. "Indeed~ Oh, you really are my daughter! So clever!" The headmaster praised her proudly. "No, wait... We can't... I mean, you know how Zero is with vampires... and well... I-I don't really mind but..." Yuki said then began mumbling at the end.

"Yuki can't either." Zero simply answered ignorantly. "Yeah, I know right." Yuki laughed nervously before she sighed. She knew Zero would never agree if she was the one to be chosen. "Well, I've counted that too~ So, well, actually I had a volunteer~" The headmaster began. "Really? Who is it?" Zero asked curiously. Then suddenly, all eyes went to the person who answered, "It's me." A girl with reddish-black hair walked into the room, wearing a white uniform on her body.

"Sc-Scarlet?!" Yuki called out in surprise. "What're you- Wait that isn't really important now. Where have you been?" She asked as she walked up to her all worried and relieved to see her. "Hmm... I'm not sure either." Scarlet simply answered with her still expressionless mask on. "Luna would never tell me." She added nonchalantly. "Well, all that matters is that you're alright!" Yuki then hugged her. "Yeah..." Scarlet simply replied returning the hug. "I'm glad all of you are alright too." She said.

"We are fine. So, what do you mean you're volunteering?" Zero then asked, cutting down all the unnecessary talks. "Hmm, it means as it means." She simply answered as Yuki had let her go. "But, why would you-?" Yuki's words were interrupted as Scarlet answered her unfinished question immediately. "Since I knew the two of you would not do it. Or at least one definitely does not want to, while the other one wants to but is opposed by the first one." She explained, still looking as expressionless as always.

"Oh~ you're also really my daughter, for being so smart, Scarlet~!" The headmaster said gleefully as he hugged her proudly too. "Yeah, yeah..." Scarlet simply brushed it off but did not push him away. "So, I do not see any problem if it being me. After all... This system is only up because of my deal with Luna." Scarlet said as she sighed. "What do you mean?" Yuki asked confused. "Well, Luna would not let me go to the academy if I did not listen to her will." She sighed again, remembering on their deal.

-A little Flashback-

"Luna, when are you going to let me return to the academy? If I didn't attend the classes, my grades could drop, or worse." Scarlet asked as they were having their dinner. "Hmm~ but I don't feel like returning you anytime soon~" Luna simply replied nonchalantly as she enjoyed her food. "And why is that?" Scarlet asked directly. "Because I won't be able to watch you every time then." She answered honestly.

"Why do you need to watch me every time anyway? It's not like I'm gonna be in danger or something, right?" Scarlet asked again as she ate her food. "Nobody knows what will happen~" Luna answered, this time not directly. Scarlet then sighed. "At least return me to the academy. Nothing will happen there, and you can still see me when I'm patrolling, right?" She tried again. "Just when you're patrolling is not enough! At least at night, I've to watch over you at night. No, every night!" Luna then said in high spirit, surprising her.

"But, of course, you can't. You've to attend class at night." Scarlet said out-of-the-matter-of-factly."Then you should just join in the night class too!" Luna abruptly said. "Yeah, right, if only it could be that easy." Scarlet replied nonchalantly too. "Then, would you join the night class if you could then?" Luna asked, beaming up already. "If that is the only thing that could make me get out of this place then, yeah, sure." Scarlet replied as she chewed on her meat.

"Too bad I can't though." She added. "Why?!" Luna then asked immediately. "Because I'm not a vampire so I can't attend it where only vampires are inside." She answered directly. "And don't even think of turning me into one. I would definitely run away from you forever if you'd ever thought of turning me into one!" She quickly added before Luna could even think of it. Luna then just pouted as she got no other idea on how to make her attend the night class. "OH! Then can you just attend both class? Just let's say it a new system where students can attend both class!" Luna beamed up her idea. "No, as expected that would be impossible..." Scarlet replied, but Luna had called up the headmaster.

-End of Flashback-

"And that was how the system was up for now." Scarlet explained to the other two sitting on their seats after their breakfast. "As for today, I will not attend the day class since I need some rest from all the trip back here." She then walked up to the door. "I will be helping with the guardian duty as always, though. But I will join in their class right after that, so sorry I can't help patrolling at night. But I'll still do my job from the inside." She said before leaving. "Well, then, I'll see you later." And with that, she left the room.

Yuki and Zero both looked at where she was before, before turning to look at the headmaster, hoping to hear more explanation from him. "Well, you two should hurry to your class then." But, yeah, of course, he would not. So the two just stood up and headed to their class. On their way to the class, Zero noticed that Yuki had been spacing out lately, so he asked it out loud.

"What are you thinking about?" Zero asked as he looked up straight at the corridor. "Eh?" Yuki turned to look at him quite surprised at the question. "No, it's nothing..." She simply replied looking back at the corridor too. Zero just took a glance at her, not questioning her any further, and at the same time, the two were approached by Yuki's Best Friend, so he left first, leaving the two girls alone.

Classes went by as usual, only with the exception of Scarlet not attending it with them, even after she had returned. After the class, Scarlet came as she said to help with the guardian duty as always, and everyone, except Yuki and Zero, who saw her was quite surprised, as she was wearing the night class uniform. She could hear the students were murmuring about her. But, being an ignorant person she was, she just ignored them all.

"Look, why's Scarlet-san wearing the night class uniform?" One of the girls in the crowd asked to the other students. "I know right. And she was even absent from class to this morning." One of the girls from her class replied. "Don't tell me, she had been moved to the night class?" Another one spoke in surprised making the others joined in.

Scarlet just sighed. She was unsure whether this was better than usual, as the girls were not pushing on each other anymore for now, or not. But it did not last long. As the gate was opened, the girls returned to their fangirling mode almost immediately, so the three guardians still had to stop them from getting on the way of the night class students.

"Ok, everyone, back away." Scarlet simply said in a monotone with her stoic face. She wondered how the students were not getting tired of this routine because she was. The students would crowd around to just look at the night class students passing by them. The guardians would then stood in front of them to make sure they did not get too close to the night class students. Scarlet then would see Kaname greeting Yuki, talking briefly while Zero was watching them carefully, and perhaps, with a hint of jealousy too. Then, somehow this had become a routine too.

"Long time no see, Scarlet-chan~!! How've you been? I've missed you~" Hanabusa Aido worked up his play, as usual, to make the other girls get jealous and mad at Scarlet. Though, she never really cared about it. "Ah, Hanabusa-senpai, it is indeed a long time." She simply said, ignoring the last part along with the yells from the girls behind her. "Oh!" Hanabusa then said as he just realized what she was wearing. "Why are you wearing the night class uniform?" He then asked suddenly looking more serious than before. "The answer is right behind you." Scarlet simply answered switching her view to the female vampire behind Hanabusa who was about to shove him away if Hanabusa was not quick enough to dodge right after Scarlet mentioned it.

"Huh?" Hanabusa asked confusedly as he looked at Luna who now had clung onto Scarlet as usual. This too somehow had become a routine for her. "Don't tell me..." He began guessing. "But, you don't smell like us..." He muttered quietly only audible for those near him, which included Scarlet, Luna, Zero, Yuki, and Kaname who was talking to Yuki. "No, I'm still human." Scarlet answered in a low voice as well. "Then?" He asked again raising an eyebrow. "Hmm... I wonder if I should tell you, Hanabusa-senpai?" Scarlet answered, teasing him.

Then, suddenly, everyone's eyes were on her. Everyone, including all the girls, the night class students, and just everyone there, especially Luna, Kaname, Hanabusa, Yuki, and even Zero. Their eyes widened in surprise. "What?" Scarlet asked nonchalantly. "No... It was just... You know... Unusual." Hanabusa tried to answer as he was struggling to find the right word until it just came out. "As in?" Scarlet asked again, still not realizing it herself. "Scarlet~!! Did you suddenly come to like him???" Come the abrupt and sudden question from Luna, which made their eyes widen even more.

"Huh?" Scarlet then turned to look at her surprised as well, and kind of disbelieved she would even ask that. "Why would you even ask that?" She then asked back. "Because... Because..." Luna started sobbing. Scarlet sighed. "This is getting nowhere." She muttered. "Well, I guess we should just head to the class now." She said as she tried to calm Luna down by patting her head. "Sorry, Yuki, Zero." She turned to look at the two who were too surprised by the unusual occurrence that they just snapped back to it when Scarlet called their name. "I will be leaving first. I'll make up to it one day." She said then as she bid her goodbye to them before taking Luna to the class. The other students were just still looking at them. Even the girls were more focused at them rather than the other night class students who were still standing in front of them all, as they also watched as Scarlet and Luna disappeared into the class.

"Oi, let's go Hanabusa." Akatsuki said as he tapped the frozen vampire who could control ice himself. He was just too surprised that he could not even comprehend what just happened. "That's very unusual for Scarlet after all..." Yuki commented too after the two girls had gone. "Do you think she really likes Hanabusa-senpai...?" She asked turning to Zero who stood beside her. "Who knows." Zero simply answered ignorantly. "Though," He then later added. "I thought she hated vampires. But, even there has been an exception from long ago." He finished in a low voice as he turned to look at the leader of all the vampires present as he stood on the other side of Yuki.

"Eh?" Yuki asked confused not really hearing what he said in the end but turned to look at Kaname too because he suddenly turned to look at him. However, Kaname who had a good hearing had listened to it all. "Well, good work as always, Yuki. I will be heading to class too now then." He said as he looked at Yuki with his usual smile plastered on his face. "Be careful on your patrol later." He lastly said before he walked to the class, followed by the other vampires, including Hanabusa who had gotten his sense back thanks to Akatsuki.

"Well, then, let the class begins."
