Hey guy...been a while cough cough. I’m sorry I haven’t been updating much but I’ve been having serious writer’s block along with personal/family issues. I’ve been trying to finish up chapters but sometimes writing 2000+ words for chapters is really difficult. Anyways I could really use some support from my subscribers to get past my obstacles. He’s a little story poem that I’ve done recently. Hope you guys like it.
Black cats are known to be unlucky but unlucky to who? I believe they’re only unlucky to themselves. Being hated, despised, feared, that’s their fault but no animal can choose their fur. Sadly the black cat must deal with it, for if she doesn’t then she’ll throw all nine lives down the drain. This is the story of a black kitten.
The black kitten’s life has never been easy, the father leaves and eventually every kitten must leave the litter. Luckily, the black kitten, the runt of her litter, always had mother by her side. Times were tough and mother was strict but she always remembered that mother cared. They moved from place to place and around 8 months of age found a place to settle.
The kitten was raised to believe that love isn’t a feeling but chemical in the brain. The kitten kitten still wished to find a fairy tale-like lover. In her cozy little den with her mother, sister, and sister’s boyfriend, things were never simple. Her sister’s boyfriend was a very chubby and lazy pale mouse. He didn’t like to do anything and would argue a lot with the kitten’s sister but the kitten tried not to listen.
The kitten was almost 1 and was in school. There was a boy she cared about, a German Shepherd who seemed to be in heat most of the time. He had liked her for a while but she wasn’t ready and wanted to wait. By the time she finally wanted to be with him, it was too late and he had found someone else. A little Scottish terrier that seemed nice and tough. The kitten would seem them walk around the halls, close together, rubbing noses. The kitten was lonely but she just wants people to be happy, so she told herself that everything was okay.
One day she decided to talk to the German Shepherd, he said he still cared about her. That made her absolutely giddy but she remembered that he has a girlfriend. She asked but he said it’s okay. She decided to go with her desire even though she knew in her gut that it was wrong. They spent time together, he hugged her and kissed her head while saying that he loved her but in the back of her head, she couldn’t stop thinking about his girlfriend. The terrier didn’t know what he was doing and he didn’t know the meaning of cheating but the black cat did ands she didn’t want to be part of it anymore.
After a week the kitten had enough, she told him that she couldn’t do it anymore and he agreed. They split off and she forgot about him for a while. It’s not like she didn’t care about him but she didn’t want him to see anybody else but her. She still saw him with his terrier together in the hallways and felt pain in her heart whenever she then passed him but she reminded herself that if he’s happy then she is too.
After a while, the kitten lay awake in bed on a Sunday night. She was prepared to go to sleep when her she gets a message from the shepherd. He asked how she was and told her that his girlfriend’s phone was taken away and he needed someone to talk to. The kitten should have been happy but she wasn’t, she felt like a side chick and that truly hurt her. She told him her pain and he responded that she shouldn’t feel that way the said he still liked her. That was her breaking point, tears began to dampen her fur as he continued to say her loved her but she couldn’t bear the pain so she told him goodnight and that was it.
The next day she conversed with close friends about what she should do. She knew that the right thing to do was confront him but it hurt her to do it. Even though it hurt, she still did it. The shepherd did not want to lose the terrier and the kitten didn't want to lose him but black cats serve karma and if karma doesn’t affect someone that needs it then it’s their job to carry out the punishment.
The kitten apologized and apologized, the shepherd did not want to lose the terrier but the kitten knew that to understand what he did wrong he has to lose what he cares about. The kitten walked through the hallway trying to avoid the shepherd but regretfully she passed by them. She had eye contact for a split second and that was enough for her to drop her head to the ground in defeat.
After a little while the shepherd tells the kitten that he told his terrier. He’s angry and asks if she’s happy now. She says no, either why she wouldn’t have been happy. She wishes him well and hopes he finds happiness again. In her mind it seems to be true that cats and dogs don’t mix. Along with that, another layer carved away in her heart of glass. It was the kitten’s job to carry out punishment but even after she still felt like she loved him. In the end, she is despised, hated, lonely, heartbroken, and an unlucky little black kitten.
Anyways, thank you guys for everything and I’ll try to finish those chapter asap. Bye bye lovelies!
