Everyone was sitting around the fire looking exhausted. “We should rest here for a while or at least until we’ve gotten back on our feet,” Eli says as he looks around at his crew. As much as Briar didn’t want to admit it Eli was right the planet had rough terrain and could easily make the weary traveler vulnerable to predators. Briar glances over to Jaxxen. The man had been extremely kind and understanding as he helped the crew warm up to Briar. Briar bit his lip at the thought of the aliens that stranded him here. Jaxxen was too good of a person to deserve being stuck on a planet neither he nor his companions knew anything about. “Are you alright?” Jaxxen asks interrupting Briar’s chain of thought. Briar nods as Jaxxen sits beside him. “They’re not that bad,” Jaxxen says. Briar looks at Jaxxen with a confused expression “What?” he asks. “The crew. I think they’re all just shaken up about the people we lost.” Jaxxen replies. Briar feels a sinking feeling in his stomach as guilt gnaws at him. “What’s wrong? You don’t look like you’re feeling good.” Jaxxen says his worry evident. “I-I’m fine. Don’t worry.” Briar says quickly. “Why does your voice sound like that?” Jaxxen asks. “Like what?” Briar asks sounding confused. “Like an angel’s,” Jaxxen replies as if it were obvious. “Th-that’s high praise,” Briar says feeling embarrassed. “You deserve it. Your voice is beautiful.” Jaxxen says. Briar squirms uncomfortably trying to think of an answer. “Oh. Sorry, I must have made you uncomfortable.” Jaxxen says as he rubs the back of his neck nervously. “N-no it’s just… no one has ever said that to me and meant it.” Briar says as he looks away to hide his blush. “What does that mean?” Jaxxen asks. Briar flinches at the thought of his home as he stands. “Nothing. I’ll be right back.” Briar says before he walks away. Briar sniffs the air as his eyes adjust to the darkness around him. A small waterfall leads Briar to a small pool with glowing blue liquid in it. Briar sighs as he takes his robe off. Briar steps into the liquid slowly before dunking his head under the water. “Why does Jaxxen remind me so much of Xeno? They look nothing alike, however, when I look at Jaxxen I see a little of Xeno in him.” Briar asks himself in a musical voice as he runs his claws through the fur on his tail. An image of the black-haired warrior flashes through Briar’s mind making him pant a little hungrily. “No! He betrayed us. I can’t lust over him.” Briar scolds himself. Briar’s heart pounds as he thinks of the nights he spent with Xeno. “No! Snap out of it.” Briar says as he steps out of the liquid. “I need some new clothes these are just meant for ceremonies, not roaming in the woods.” Briar thinks as he looks around for the right items to make some clothes out of.
Back with the crew…
Jaxxen was pacing back and forth as he became more and more worried about Briar. “What’s wrong with you sweetheart?” Eli asks as he leans against a nearby tree. “I’m worried,” Jaxxen says as he sits down. “About what?” Eli asks as he sits beside Jaxxen. “Nothing you would care about.” Jaxxen snaps. “Hey now. I know you want me.” Eli says as he pins Jaxxen down. “How about you give daddy a kiss?” Eli purrs. “N-no get off!” Jaxxen says as he struggles to pull away from Eli. “It’s just a little kiss,” Eli says. “Fine! One kiss.” Jaxxen says cursing himself on his submissive nature. “Good,” Eli smirks before he begins kissing Jaxxen passionately. Involuntarily Jaxxen moans into Eli’s mouth, as much as he hated to admit it Eli was an amazing kisser. Eli deepens his kiss as his hands move down Jaxxen’s body just feeling him. Jaxxen pulls back “Stop!” he pants as shame settles in his mind. “Hmph. I wanted more of you. But, I guess I’m satisfied so I’ll leave you alone.” Eli says as he backs off allowing Jaxxen to sit up. A slight rustle from the bushes puts both Jaxxen and Eli on edge. Briar comes out his hair slightly damp as he pulls a few small leaves out of it. Jaxxen’s eyes glide up and down the alien’s body. Somehow he had gotten new, tighter clothes that seemed to be made out of leather and highlighted Briar’s seemingly perfect body. “How did you make that?” Jaxxen asks trying and failing to pull his eyes away from Briar’s body to look him in the eye. “The flora has many uses if you know what they are,” Briar replies. “You look good…”
