It got to the point where Jung desperately wanted someone to find him. The reason he didn't move was that the pain was too much and he didn't have enough adrenaline to drown it out. He even wanted Do Yoon to find him, which was surprising, especially for Jung. Ji Won found Do Yoon very creepy and his sadistic nature topped it all off, but Park was in the same year as he was... and he was a big help on subjects he didn't quite get... they could be at least considered "friends". Well, it was for the first year of them hanging out that Jung got more comfortable around Park, but that most likely resulted from Jung's inability to make new friends. The only way that Jung was even affiliated with Soojin, to begin with, was because she was his senior in high school, and he got rejected by her. To make it worse, Choi sometimes teased Jung about his awkward confession, which then continued into college. How was he supposed to know his senior in high school was also his senior in college?
Jung ended up vowing to never associate with girls he could potentially fall in love with. However, as time progressed, he noticed his increasing indifference towards girls love wise, so now he never saw them as more than friends, which did eventually lead to heartbreak down the line when he rejected confessions from multiple girls he knew. (Puberty happened to hit Jung like a bus during his high school career, (in a good kind of way)). Soojin had also transferred out of the high school so the teasing had stopped, for then at least, before starting again in college.
Sometimes when Jung and his college "friends" (Choi's friends, including Park Do Yoon, of course) had hung out and had a drink, or two, alright multiple drinks, he always woke up in Do Yoon's apartment, aching everywhere and with slightly more intense pain in his lower back. Whenever Jung had asked about it, Do Yoon always answered with that he had fallen over and had hurt his back in the process... but it happened too many times to be a coincidence. For better or for worse, Jung always found himself hanging out with Soojin, yet again waking up in the same predicament. He tried to confront Park about it, but he always seemed to evade it with logical answers that did make sense but didn't quite add up. If Jung had asked why he wasn't wearing any clothes or wearing Do Yoon's clothes then Park would answer with, "Your clothes had gotten vomit on them, so I sent it to be cleaned,". For the first few times, Jung thanked him for being so considerate, but it had gotten to the point where Ji Won couldn't stand it, so he cut off ties with him outside of college.
Almost immediately, Ji Won was confronted about this, but he quickly came up with the excuse that he wanted to focus more on studying. But when the exams had finished... they had "all" decided to hang out, sing karaoke and drink. Jung didn't really want to be a part of it but found himself there anyway. He even ended up singing a few songs, slurred, yes, but he always managed to finish the song before feeling like he was going to vomit. Park always seemed to be there, giving a helping hand, in the end, he always seems to be the one most sober. It was probably because he wanted to see his friends in pain when they woke up with a hangover, or he was just a very heavy drinker so was used to his liver being slowly poisoned on a regular basis. Jung wasn't sure. But he was sure Do Yoon had managed to get him to drink a little more than he usually does, or he was slowly becoming an alcoholic. Either way, that's how they all found themselves intoxicated in the middle of the woods, playing hide and seek, with the possible addition of a serial killer.
