I was at home, eating some pop tarts. *Ding!* I looked at my phone. Eliana had texted me, its been almost 2 weeks that we haven't talked. I rolled my eyes. I checked it and it said, “I’m tired of the way you've been treating me. We used to be best friends, now were not. I have depression now, like no kidding.

“I was diagnosed yesterday. If my depression gets worse, something bad could happen to me. I’ve already been thinking about hanging my self, so… this is goodbye.” Then showed the picture of the rope. I started crying.

“Mom!” I yelled through the house.

“Whats wrong?” she replied.

“Get me to Eliana’s house, she's going to hang herself if we don't do anything!”

“In the truck now!” We jumped into the truck and sped to her house.

We knocked at the door and her mom opened it. “Hi!”

“Wheres Eliana?” I asked frantically.

“She's in her room. Why?” we shoved her mom out of the way and ran to her door. I tried opening it but it wouldn't budge. I grabbed a bobby pin and unlocked her door. She was already putting the noose around her bruised neck. I snatched the rope from her hands and I gave her a really big hug.

“I'm so, so sorry.”

“Whatever… But thanks for saving me from killing myself.” She still looked very disappointed. “Just leave,” she told me. We went into the truck and left. On the way home, I started bursting into tears.
